Message from the Chief Hotdogger

Kowabunga! We are excited to welcome you to the annual search for the perfect wave of funds for the Endowment for Financial Aid. This year the beach is packed with hot items ready for you to hang ten or more on. Whether you want to experience the thrill of surfing live in the gym or prefer the quieter stroll on the silent auction beach there will be something for everyone.

This year we will have the extra thrill of riding the virtual wave with our hand held devices. It is going to be way cool, man. There will be the old favorites of the live auction and I hope to avoid a major wipe out while doing my usual stunts.

The beach bar will be full of high-octane fun, to help bring out your inner Beach Boy or Gidget complete with good vibrations and fun, fun, fun.

We should let it all hang out in congratulating the whole crew who has brought us to the water’s edge. They have been hard at work clearing the beach and readying the bay for the day that the waves roll in.

Now is the time to get on your board and take your paddle out into the deep water. It is time to stand up and catch a wave for keeping GCS the leader in financial aid. Our financial aid waves are two and three times the size of other JK-8 schools in the city because of all that you have splashed through in the past. I can see another set of big ones on the horizon, so get ready to ride. The surf is up for GCS. Be true to your school and let the bidding begin!
