„Inspirational walks“ as a sustainable „Presencing“

The „Inspirative walk“ has proved itself as a very helpful and central Presencing - method. Although its development is still at the beginning, in its accomplishment we can make a wide range of experiences , both related to future images and forces related to conscious knowledge and differentiations between perception types, forces and beings. In addition, the "Inspirational walk“ is also a practicing path for the anthroposophical meditation. The method has been developed by Dirk Kruse since many years (1) and is part in organizational development processes and year festival celebrations since 2000

Three key points consist in:

- Grasping the social organism out of the future

- Problem solving in the social

- Finding new impulses called by the social organism

It is the speciality at the Inspirational-Walk-Method that after a phase of claering imagework the developements and the questions here are brought into a very deep meditative and nature-based Presencing- and Knowledgework from every single participant. Time – nature and lonliness-intensity is leading to an existencial way of self-inserting into the Presencing. According to experience later in the group the results of the single person become assimilated – as example to descisions - in as deeply dignigfied, meaningful and high cherished perception-atmoshere.

In the following become accomplished method, methodical helpful experiences and esoteric background – for to contribute to the success of this complexe method and because it can be helpful for the understanding of the presencing-happening in general.

Basic course of the Inspirational Walk

Everyone alone is carring the - before in the circle found – Questions, or inner Rework, or “Search for Inspiration” with him/her on the walk through the inspiring nature. It’s good if wie have a nature around us in which automatically is opening the heart – we can say we only have to follow this opening!

It is also helpful, to take the ripening- or passages-times of the day, so to start walking when it’s light and to return back in the dark.

Best with three and a half hours time (12 x 17 Minutes ). Minimum: a good hour (4 x 17 Minutes). The experience shows, that there is a 17 Minutes-Rythm in which the connection to the nature is deepening stepwise to a clearly Uniting.

It is good to have both, Inside and Outside Experiences, as Example Forest-Inside and Landscape- Outlook, Sundown- or sunrisesights and wide Horizonviews. The area should be overseeable or already known. If we are already totally connected with the place, we may know where we have special Inspiration possibillitys ... . But somekind of a pioneer- or adventure-feeling can also be helpful.

Normally the first 17 minutes (a found out relevant timespace) are needed to get free and come out of your thoughts and into connection with Nature, than we can start to have the inner work.

In a awake percepting awareness we move the theme in innerly togetherness with the naturespirit around us. We think, feel and want not only in our inside , but also in our outside – as if we are speaking with a friend who is beside us. We follow our inner Work, beeing the same aware to what is coming from our inside (observation of thinking, feeling, willing) as from “the Inside of the Outside (the Nature)” too. That means – spiritually spoken - we try to feel the good Elementary- and Spiritual World around us like our Outside Soul. The Soulobservation with the steps Imagination - Inspiration – Intuition is worthy a lot here (see short method in the fourth part from here in the text)!

Often there will be worked at a Theme with sense in clear steps. An example: a first part of looking back on the growing of the reality which is connected to the question. Eventually we close this phase with a ritually or symbolic goodbye. A second part follows totally released from the personal- or jroject-past. Now it is not anymore a present reality. Also it is not yet reality the personal- or project-future. Now it is finally only a time of here-and-now-with- me-reality! Freed it can be “celebrated”! Beside with this is appearing also a greater inspiration-openess. In the third part we can devote us to the personal- or project connected questions - „For what is calling the future?“- so that all openess can be brought to the insiring ideas, pictures, messages – to he Presencing-Inspirations.

- Normally every 17 Minutes its getting deeper and more free. Normally the experience is: first we are parted with nature, than we get in steps united, at last we are like a part of the inner soul-spiritual naturereality and it is speaking to us, if we stay aware and questioning. Eventual afraidnesses - from dark Forest or something - are possible. This should be used to look – uprightening yourself - through the dark, what mostly leads more direct into the serious soulworld behind it. it into the Spiritual World, that’s mostly inside of it (the seriousness of a dark wood is a bit like the Guardian of the Treshhold). We have to be courageous! But a bit like children, too! – And then suddenly we can come to the deepest insights!

Animal-Experiences at the walk can be Openers for the Soulworld. If we let them “linger back in us” they can help bringing inner Experiences into a deeper Meaning.

Horizon-Lookouts can give high Inspirations which lead us to Childhoodexperiences and “Fururecalls” and could at last lead us at last over time and space into an experience of archetypical homeland and highest reminding of “what its all about!”.

An old tree or the inside of a special forestpart with waterstream can middle differenciating „Implementation -Inspiration“. Mostly it is important in the counterplay with the soulalike (mostly oft he Elementarybeing-World) to put Questions into the place and being and meditatively to listen on the „answer“ of the kind of soul there – which means in truth to come through soul observation into the conciousness of the spiritual being part in it. This is normally happening with the participation of our higher self as a high form of observing the thinking.

As example we than can ask in the following way (always energetic holding the Experience and feeling that has come into our soul holding, making it stronger and observe it meditatively!) – but always only possible if we feel „it‘s allowed“ it is fitting:

How are you, Intimacy? How are you, Seriousness? How are you Mightyness, out there? How are you bliss in it/beyond?

Do we find a knowledge, a grasping and with this terms for it, like as example: „You are deepest awaken-serious thrilling into me and caring form me!“ etc., than maybe we can go on with asking – maybe astonished-devoted, but sure with direction on the most important – so as example

How do you think and want that? To where aim your intention? From where is coming your Seriousness? To where aim your love?

And than also more specific: „How we shall go on (as a group) our way? And after an „answer“ maybe until going into questions about achievement: „How can we do that exactly?“

One can recognise, that instead of the normally unconsciously coming of sudden ideas out of the spiritual world now the coming-up of them can be consciously be followed.

At all this it’s important the catching by writing or drawing into a little notebook. It’s important already because such impressions often don’t stay into the consciousness nor into our memory.!

Spiritual Experiences can break in into the understanding in a very exact way and have to be „dressed“ in differenciating words!

Such inspirations are often perceived in an imaginative and quite powerful fashion, as if they were observed in the outside world. As an example, I am not able to exactly describe a magnificent sunset even though observation of the said sunset is a more momentous experience as that of nearby buildings, which can be effortlessly described, but were, however, a lot less significant at that moment. Imaginations and inspirations received on such walks have to be groped and palpated to get a hold on them. They do not seep or penetrate as deep into our memory as everyday thoughts but fade very quickly from our memory, making them no longer exactly reproducible.

Best is, everyone can come back in the dark, when he is feeling like. But it could also be a fixed time, too and a little meeting-again- and ending-ritual. After Coming back, there can be a break (Driving Home, Eating) and afterwards, or even after a Night, everybody is telling his Experiences - as he likes it. It is an real art to ask the right Questions to the Storyteller at the right Point. It often can lead in central deepenings, because the most important has not stayed in the head-consciousness.

If the Group is to big, or the time is to short, there could be more Circles in which People tell there Storys – beetween 4 Minutes and open time. In this case there can be given short synthesised Pictures afterwards, from one from every little Circle, in the Big Circle. So far this methodically variant.

But sure can every similar – also shorter - form of inspirational naturwalk give a knowledgebuilding- (3), inspiration- or lifehelp too.

One will see how already the intellectual-assoziative sharing of the new experienceparts from naturephanomenas will foster the creativity oft he thinking. If are developed the deepening into imaginative, inspirative and intuitive layers can enlarge the possibilitys. So specially for meditative practisegroups the reflection on the walkexperiences can be so rich!

It is important that we walk awake opened with permanently awareness – without wandering away from it. Then our consciousnessexperience will be that it is transforming and growing in special exact timesteps.

A summary description of these stages - at I - form:

1st Stage - "Polarity Man - Nature":

Around 20 minutes after leaving (exactly it’s experienceable 17 minute) , there comes up a great polarity between me and nature. Nature is powerful out there, in front of me. She is still panorama- like, though here and there, clearly marked with its own soul intensities. I am totally in my being and she is also an intimate own world for herself.

I walk freely, and I am asking myself what comes and I am open - but already directed - both to work, as well as to the perception of the natural environment.

Through observations and events (for ex. it may come up a deer or a duck) my soul immerses itself more and more, now and then, into the observed things.

2nd Stage - "Immersion in togethernes with Nature":

Eventually - after about 40 minutes I experience quite clearly that my soul is now in a togethernes with nature. We, both, - Nature and I - are in a common substance, in a common soul space. And it's almost as if we were listening to each other. But it is still a tension, an always-opening myself toward perception, and an astonishing always new opposition with nature in a common soul space.

3rd Stage - "Increasing intensity":

As the intensity increases constantly, after some brief intensities-experience, I can come to some densities-experience, deepness- and power- experience, in relation to which my inner life seems hardly grown up. It can be awesome but also joyfull, through connection with nature. Gratefullnes and veneration moods in relationship with nature can arise now. It begins a "speech" of nature, that one can listen consciously, when he is alone in some intimate places in nature!

You should not remain paralyzed, but go on with intense observation and „communication“ – so you could follow the next stages of clearness.

4th Stage - "To be carried by nature":

Soon after that - in the continous perception outside there, I notice that I am like carried by nature. I'm in it. I am absorbed. I am more and more one with it. Without losing my identity. But sensitive- like, as if my being, my body is so largely unabgegrenzt to nature around me. Also, I must not create my own state of being anymore. Now my state of being breahtes there ouside, through me and my kind of soul growing there, and through the being out there. But, as it was already mentioned, it is even more: I am carried by the dignity of nature.

5th Stage - To be One: I in Surrounding -:

The now reached experience-intensity increases until I see myself as from outside. It is as if I see and value and advise myself with the look of inner dignity of nature out there, from that sight. With this view, I can also experience that the "I" is also extended out there – and looks as from a higher vantage point at my lesser I, which is here in my body. I look through the eyes of the higher worlds in and behind this nature - and to me. At the same time look into the higher dignity of creatures in the depths of nature. Also part of this state that I am also in the depths and heights in the sky.

It is a knowledge state, even a conscience. With the view from the outside connected into me, I experience it as a deeper form of "my" knowledge " and of „my" conscience. Above space and above time, I feel in my condition of being-in-one with the condition of the world. I experience a dignified painful oneness with the highest Being from the perifery and I experience my highest self in surrounding ...

It is as something evident and objective experienced: I „see“ not only myself, but „see“also the world beings. Also especially: I know this state well. Only it had not penetrated yet until consciousness and never with such clearness and penetrating presence ... .

Presencing is possible on different consciouss-levels

The perception- and experiencelevels oft he presencing can be differentiated exact in assoziative Thinking, Imagination, Inspiration or Intuition (4).

1. Thoughtful-associative presencing: encounters, perceptions and moods in the landscape are connected with the questions, so new combinations of ideas are inspired and executed.

2. Imaginative presencing: The questions are carried into encounters, perceptions and emotions of the landscape in a way that thoughts and mental powers meet them kept open, so that in particular in the open etheric body and life forces of the questioner question-related perceptions or imaginations and truthful images form. Possibly the imaginations are experienced as the exterior aspect of a being’s essential presence.

3. Inspirational presencing: Penetrating perceptions and imaginations mentioned in 2 their underlying psycho-spiritual origin is sensed with the question directed towards the encounters, perceptions and emotions carried into the landscape. Faculties of thought and psychic powers are opened towards the landscape, so that especially in the open soul - or astral forces of the questioner issue-related inspirations can "express" themselves. This means that to capture important exact ideas often needs new word formations to halfway adequately express them. “One knows exactly what it is, but does not have the right words for it!" Maybe one experiences to have taken a glimpse into the toughts of Beings present right then.

4. Intuitive presencing: This resembles inspirations, with the difference that one feels like being situated in the innermost thoughts and maybe even of the beings themselves thinking these world thoughts, and thus be filled with the spiritual power of intention they have . It's like a mighty sacred "being one"!

Always it shoulb be written or drawn down the experienced or Jeweils – already fo not to loose it out oft he consciousness. Later in the reflectioncircle then it can come up into the consciousness – specially through the witness of the storytelling of others – some experienced that was not coing up into the consciousness. 8

Good perception condition: Soulobservation

The best prerequisite is mindful observation of psychic processes. In the method developed by Dirk Kruse following ’s book How to Know Higher Worlds: A Modern Path of Initiation (9), this means roughly to follow the steps mentioned below in short (of course it is best to learn them by heart and not having to remember actively each time):

1. Acquire an able-to-be amazed and devotional openness (e.g. towards nature) 2. Build up meditative concentration to observe as follows: 3. Observation (of nature, sky, landscape places etc.) 4. Sensing of the respective innate Vitality and their peculiarities. 5. Notice respective psychic experiences (Emotions, moods, atmospheres, things which normally flit through our awareness and stay subconscient). 6. Collecting and gathering, then amplifying and observing psychic impressions (Hard work!) 7. Differentiating while scanning the psychic impressions according to three different categories: vitality-like emotions, character-like emotions, dignity-like emotions. 8. Psychic things kann express itself even like lines/sketches or forms/figures as imaginary being/entity, it gets “visible” (“Image” is the outer aspect of essence or inherent essential intention which becomes evident especially in the aspect of dignity) 9. Describe and outline (later communicate) things thus experienced

Especially in Step 7 access to Imagination, Inspiration and Intuition may be granted, and, potentially, also the ability to distinguish levels of etheric, astral, and purely spiritual being .

Natureplace-Configurations as Presencingorgans

"In the spiritual world thoughts awakens the soul" is the meaning of the third verse from Rudolf Steiner‘s Foundation Stone Meditation : the Rosicrucian saying "Per Spiritum Sanctum Reviviscimus“ (6). To read future thoughts from the "spiritual world thoughts" requires organs. During inspirational walks in addition to the own spiritual organs (7) timespaces in the flowing of time become a perception organ and space and the spatial configurations (8) of nature become an organ for the thoughts of the spiritual beings. Just as the physical sense organs (like eye and ear) have little own being and much capacity of receiving and transmission, so in the deepened perceiving of Imagination, Inspiration and Intuition we need soul capacities – especially feelings – with little own being and much receiving character (9).

This also holds true for natural places bearing the character of earth organs. There often nature’s realms and landscape harmonies are in idyllic consonance. Suitable are places with creeks, hills, bushes and surrounding trees open to the course of the sun or to south-southwest with beautiful environment. Or hills open to the sunset, idyllic little groves still permeated a little by sunrays, edges of woods allowing beautiful overviews of the countryside. (The visible surroundings interestingly coin the formation of moods and elementary beings of a given place, and, consecutively also the qualities of plants growing there!)

Experience shows: The more developed a place is, the more developed the local elementary being! Rocks, old trees, coniferous/pines forests are places where mostly deeply thinking gnomes (earth’s elementary beings) are present. In gnomes, perception falls into one and equals with cognition.

In places with a lot of vegetative green and moistness, creeks with idyllic configurations of water falls, shade from tree branches and flashing sunrays, undines (water elementary beings) are predominant (they can provide a flooding, dreamlike and healing worldwisdom). 9

In bright birch tree groves, above the dry grass and in clearings with playful light, the air full of flying insects, shimmer the sylphs (air elementary beings) and mediate earth-loving ideas and powerful impulses out of “wisdom at ease”. From the horizon over the far distance, especially in dry air, strengthened by grass bushes and animals backs, fly and drift meaningful, message-bearing ideas sent through salamanders.

„In the elementary world we only get to know a being if we somekind of innerly with our soullife become it.“ So Rudolf Steiner (GA 147, 26.08.1913). And he made it clear: "Out of these worlds (of the beings from the spiritual worlds) hierarchy, the ideas and concepts come to our souls; they come straight into the soul from higher worlds, and not from the world of senses." (GA 146, 05.29.1913) And he specified:

"... The gnomes are for the people (also) here to let their world words to sound from Earth, the Undine let their world words to flow upwards, the sylphs from above, the fire beings, like a choir ... Countless and countless beings have something to tell in the world totality, and the Cosmic word sounds from these countless beings together. ... So you see how what lies beyond the threshold belongs to our nature, how that leads us in the creative gods force, in that what lives and acts in all others "(GA 230, 04.11.1923)

So we only can feel and think into the newest worldthoughts and godsforces with the most lovefilled putting ourselves into the position of the natureplace, mood and being there.

Through inspirational walks that becomes graspable after some time!

There is a wealth of special situations which focus on certain kinds of inspirations. Three examples:

On a creeks or river’s bend one can, observed from outside, experience, how, looking at the river flowing towards me, I unvoluntarily overview the history of origin – mine or that of a social organism, and then enter mory deeply through mindful observation. Looking at the river as it flows away from me, lies the of future.

In a different way, but also with respect to past and future, one can, while looking at a far horizon at dusk perceive the worlds past in the hazy blue of the earthly region, whereas in the deep blue over the horizon, one can immerse into the worlds’s future. Especially in the latter peculiar deepened presencing is possible. And, overall, a dialogue between the past (earth’s haze) and future (sky’s blue) can be witnessed on such evening horizons.

Different kinds of plants and stones and minerals, seen in the right context of nature and light, each have their own special function as gate or entrance to supernatural fields of experience.

The bush of wild roses, for instance, can lead us to special childhood memories. Rudolf Steiner mentions a general law also connected to the communication with natural spirits happening during inspirational walks: “When I fall asleep, I habd over my memories to the powers who spiritually reign in crystals, in plants, in all natural phenomenons. You could even say to yourself: While passing you during the day (you plants), I look at you from the outside. Into your inner being I will drown my memories, while I sleep. You take these memories, while I sleep. People love roses – only they don’t know it – because roses take up the very first memories of childhood. Thus, man is, more than he knows, interconnected with outside nature, which means with the spirit which reigns in the outer natural world.

…the respective psychic disposition/content that we have developed during the first stages of chidhood, for instance by being cruel, also sticks with us. It is, however , absorbed by thistles. So close is man’s relationship to outward nature, that what man internally experiences as memories, how he expresses his soul in gestures and in his physiognomy, is of paramount importance to nature.

We are not beings just standing at the gate of nature and knocking in vain. Especially through what is our innermost, we are also most intimately related to the inner side of nature…

If humans could only, by studying spiritual wisdom, really put themselves into dialogue with nature’s spiritual beings (they could e.g. learn something regarding pedagogical questions). …those natural spirits grow tacit if not being told something lying in their field of curiosity. …indeed, those dialogues with spiritual natural beings … are of an exceptionally teaching quality for both sides (towards natural spirits and man) … earth is teaming of what lives in men’s souls. And, in reality, earthly life strongly depends upon such things. First, we find nature’s spirits as entities we are entering. We also find the world of Angeloi, Archangeloi and Archai. We also grow into them, we immerse into them. … (one notices also this second tendency /stream in the world from east to west (in the world): The stream of the second hierarchy. In this stream of the second hierarchy lives something which outwardly appears in the day. …and the stream, going from west to east, is the stream of the first hierarchy, of seraphims, cherubims and thrones.” (GA 232, 25.11.1923)

Here it is touched upon how one, through perception of nature, can get through up to the hierarchies their wisdom which is bend towards the future (see also the section after the next one).

Rudolf Steiner relates similar “door ways” to the plants as he does to metals, in his last lectures organised by Daniel Dunlop 1924 in England (GA 243 The consciousness of an initiate) One can say that observation with the soul of human beings in connection to “the feeling of copper – if we meditate on it”, leads into the world of the dead (GA 243, 14.08.24)

Goethe’s words become true: “Nothing is inside, nothing is outside, because what is inside is outside”. For example Steiner describes the quality of the granite that it has the potential to be a door way, an entrance to the spiritual life, spirit beings that live and work in Nature, with this is given an archetypal description how one can reach via nature to the background of the spiritual world, as it is done through “Presencing”. “When the human being encounters one of the hardest rocks on earth with his imaginative consciousness he penetrates the surface of the mineral world. He is then able to grow together, through his thinking, with the stone. One could say; the soul being of man expands into the depth of the rock and enters spiritually a place like a holy palace of the gods. The inner part is permeable to the imagination, and the outer boundary is like the walls of this palace of the gods…one gets the impression that in each of these quartz rocks something is present like an eye of the earth for the cosmos…one receives from the spiritual sense impression a soul impression and living with the imagination one feels connected to the crystal blanket of the Earth and to everything that the Earth receives from the cosmos. This widens our own being into the cosmos and we can feel at one with the cosmos.” (GA 232,30.11.1923)

Out of this feeling of oneness we can find answers from this perception! However Steiner explains that one can hear the minerals talking while speaking with the metal veins in the granite: “The language that is spoken by the dead has no similarity with any other earthly language…that can only be perceived with the spiritual hearing…. the same language is spoken by the metals in the inside of the Earth. And the same language that is used to come close to the souls who live between Death and a new birth, the same language tells us the memories of the Earth… the tales of the metals through which one can perceive the spiritual penetration into the inside of the Earth can bring forth many details of the Earth’s past….this shows while the knowledge, through Inspiration, connects to the metal veins of the Earth.. there are forms where the metal language starts

Dirk Kruse Spiritual Organisation Developement to create cosmic poetry... the metals show to man the healing connections while being poetic.”(GA 232, 30.11.1923)

In the same Cycle of lectures, that probably was created in the mood of the Druids of Penmaenmawr in Wales, Rudolf Steiner mentions how even the wisdom of nature spirits has to be found again, it was available in former times through dealing alchemisticly with elements nature ….One can see that the alchemistic working of the Rosecrucians had lead to nothing else than to the working with the nature spirits.. One could perceive what nature spirits knew…Today most of this tradition has been lost, but we have to find it again.. (GA 232.22.12.1923) Steiner mentions in these lectures that the wisdom of the nature spirits needs cosmic wisdom that is gained through working with the world of the stars. One can see clearly that here is a field, wide open, for opportunities for research, the manifold “door ways” in Nature for soul observation and Presencing, are there, also for therapeutic purposes. In general one can say that the experiences of something that happens in nature is nearer to us and we have more connection to it, than a landscape, with its far reaching horizons that has more to do with the expansion of time and leads us away from the realm of the personal. (see more Dirk Kruse: Soul Observation). If one finds in the wider view some personal stuff, childhood memories or future possibilities, then we can find some relevance, some connection in the stream of time. In the view that realises the entire heavenly cupola, if it is not clouded, we meet the meaningfulness of the present, the now, in a majestic way- and in connection with the planetary spirit (see further paragraphs).

In general it can be said: The naturebased presencing manages much more deep – but only if we establish a new deeper and more awake relation to all naturesurrounding, landscape, horizon and the firmament.

Annoucement Feelings – noticing and grasping

More clearly observed the perceptionway is often leading over announcingfeelings into the experience of moods and beingthougts!

As in a good knowledge conversation, on an inspirational walk we can develop a sense for the announcement feelings of profound ideas, imaginations and inspirations. ... To stay calm and perceptive, with a sense of pre-sensing without tying it down, to be able to grasp the moment. Without the spirit presence one would not have the time to grasp the spiritual experience, one would arrive so late that the situation would have vanished ..“ ..“(GA 211, 14.04.1922) To stay calm and perceptive, with a sense of pre-sensing without tying it down, to be able to grasp the moment. We then grasp the intuition ….and and receive the spiritual world streaming into us”(GA 227 20.08.1923)

In order to do that clearly one has to ask more often: how is it?etc. The experience can be that we understand „In the astral world we look at the things from inside.“ (GA 88, 04.11.1903) We live for a moment in the images of thoughts and in the feeling and forces connected to them. Soon they dissapear out of our consciousness forces, that is why the inner repetition and the writing of experiences or drawing of it is so important.

In the “announcement feelings” we learn to see the subtle area of the soul where it touches our consciousness: that moment when the attention to the opening and the soul gesture meets the surrounding. Etherbody, Astralbody and I-body withdraw and envelop the grasping content of perception while streaming back into the soul. Steiner describes this areas of the living-etheric, and soul-astral more precise: going towards a plant with a meditative consciousness.. you gain an etheric image… similar as if you are swimming in the sea. So that everywhere in the wide ocean of ether forces I unfasten something that is similar to my third, my astral being. Actually it is an astral image. “ (GA. 234, 20.01.1924). Thoughts and questions coloured by feelings of soul and astral-body need to radiate into the alive nature environment in order to untie the astral images of the etheric surrounding. These images are connected to the etheric-astral beings, nature elemental beings, who enliven the ether body of the Earth. We have to take hold of the astral images in order to find in them the content of the spiritual archetypical consciousness. The Soul encounter happens especially in social situations which is very meaningful for the future. It can be developed and cultivated.

From Nature – moods to Spiritual Beings

"... a disposition of resting in the bosom of spiritual beings, that is what man needs for the real experience of the spiritual worlds." (GA 156 , 05.10.1914) - this is especially true for inspirational walks!

More exactly observed, intense moods build themselves from the questioning gesture, from the deepening of perceptions- after the mentioned periods of time - and, in a decisive way, from the configuation of the place- which has the character of an organ. The following are considered differentiated: thoughts moods,feeling moods and will moods and their mixtures. Much is helping if we can handle the polarizty of fully loving devotion and strict grasping thinking – subject to the condition that we have a dearly maybe spiritual deepned natureconnection (10). Starting from the 12 senses (11), we gasp them and their background, particularly by combinations of life-, see-, warmth-, word-, thought- and I- sense and pull the etheric and astral body from the body boundage. Then - which after more than one hour walk is easily possible-, with directed attention we could notice the following: There is:

1. Foreground moods of the earth-, plants-, rocks-, creek- , places- configuration

2. Background moods of the whole area, from wide space directions and sun horizon area, and from day time background and

3. Comprehensive all-moods of the concerning period of year and consciousness level of mankind.

Through more years of compared Experiences this will become graspable.

Through mentally exact observations can be established how in these moods penetrate the beings related to them. Steiner expressed it in this way: ”What we see in nature around us and perceive could (meditatively) let it disappear as a result everywhere sympathy and antipathy, the moral feelings would occur …there we are faced with a deeper being towards the outer world. The width of endlessness effects us so that we feel religious.The green blanket of plants effect us so that we feel ourselves in our inner being spiritually blossoming and perceiving…then something deeper in us is taking hold of the world…we reach a world, that lays behind this outer veil..we will reach in this way a realm that reveals bit my bit manifold beings, beings that work behind he mineral realm, behind realm of plants, and the animal realm. The etheric shows bit by bit singularities..that what opens bit by bit is called the elemental world and the spiritual being that we meet are the elemental spirits that lay hidden behind all physical-sensual.” (GA136, 03.04.1912) We experience that in the foreground moods elementals are living this elementary beings, behind then higher elementarybeings, so-called „Spirits of the circulationtimes“,in the background moods the so- called Planetspirit and angels of the lowest third hierarchy (landscape angel, sky direction Archangel,

“(Man experiences the lowest third hierarchy) as a world that stands above him and inspires him as something higher than himself … . “(GA 136,06.04.1912) The experience of the second hierachy – the exusai, dynameis and kyriotetes is that we stretch out our own being through our ether body like tentacles and pouring forth our own being into the other being ...we are feeling the other being as our own soul ..we know ourselves at one with this being and look back on ourselves. (GA 136,07.04.1912) This looking back means to reflect on our questions and social organism we are concerned with. And it means new creative forces for ourselves are evolving. We feel the loving wisdom of the beings of the second Hierarchy in the living nature and in the sunlight as a background mood :”when we feel ourselves in the living beings(i.e.plants) we learn that behind everything there lives a higher spiritual world, the beings of the second hierarchy…it is always the impulse of life the result of the creative activity of the second hierarchy..it is like spiritual sounding, not like spiritual light as it is with the third hierarchy…therefore we feel the spiritual beings of the second hierarchy penetrating all nature and the totality of the physiognomy in the entire mimic of nature comes to expression. Flooding wisdom flows through all beings, all realms of nature (GA 136, 06.04.1912) The second hierearchy stands behind everything that receives sulight... out of the sun they rule the visible world that is their offering...therefore we have in the working of the sun the working of the second hierarchy.“ (GA 236, 27. 06. 1924) „Through – in -and behind“ something in nature – here it is the sunlight- to look is the almost precise methododical message for the Soul observations and being in the present. We can also look at it through Imagination-Inspiration and Intuition. „The second Hierarchy is more connected to the horizontal plane of the Earth sphere; one can especially look at the streaming east -west directions One can grasp the current from east to west in the world, that is the streaming of the second hierarchy. In this current of the second hierarchy there lives something that shows itself during the day...and this current that flows from west to east...that is the current of the first hierarchy, the Seraphime, the Cherubime and Thrones.“ (GA 232, 25.11.1923) The first hierarchy that meets us as a fully creative evolutionary love and eqipped with the world of power from the Western sunset horizon can be experienced as followed:“ the first category (1st Hierarchy – spirits of Will –Thrones), we predominantly perceive when we dive into the being of other people and also higher animalsand by that means educate ourselves...or we plunge into the plant world ,when we become one with plants and from the plants look at ourselves, we come to the Cherubim. That is connected with the overwhelming power of wisdom that is acquired, gathered up over decades, wisdom that streams towards us of sublime power from the beings we call the Cherubim. With the Seraphim, the experience is similar to the feeling as if someone just like an countenance matured by life which tells of the experiences of decades had penetrated his whole being and he is standing in front of us without words, his wisdom is expressed in resonance and what was achieved over centuries...and this is put into his look...and this look speaks as the world itself.... .“( GA 136, 07.04.1912)

From year to year can be noticed then how the foreground and part from background moods are in the custody of the widespread Persephona- Nature beings (12) – or the beings living there are again members of Nature- Persephonea also. In these Persephona members lies something deep-originary homelike which, after some longer walks, surrounds us as a wise protective Nature. Likewise increases the presence of the Being who carries in itself as members a whole of beings of the background- and widespread- moods , Sophia Being who, from the gods world, intermediates and gathers humanwisdom (13). In she lies something clear, meaningful, grandiose, like sky height - light streaming down and keeping us awake. For the relationship to it aims especially the Holy Spirit verse from the Foundation Stone saying: "In the spiritual world of thoughts awakens the soul". Man can

Through more years of inspirational walk experiences, especially to the same places, we go always more as into a sublime reunion with them. They are like the powerful horizon-companions, which usually far, but now while walk they come near into an intimate nearness. And then, in a way, we go into them . Because: "In relation to the higher hierarchies we must have the feeling that we come into them. "(GA 162, 17.07.1915)

And as a man, after a long period of knowledge-conversations, can learn to „ask“ and experience the genius of Sophia being, the Philosophy and, as anthroposophist especially Anthroposophia -"like a man who walks among us" so a man can learn in nature to „ask“ in particularly intimate way (14), – through the elementary beings mediation - the Anthroposophia as messenger of Sophia! In future it will be possible for everyone to experience: In a good Presencing one can always "ask" the messengers of Sophia. Sure, according to the particular world conception of the walker, the messsengers are printed in a differentiated way through Sophia – but finally they are always messengers of the Holy Spirit priciple of God! Those who go with the messenger "Anthroposophia" have certainly the possibility of very sculptural inspirations - through her unique wisdom flow unfolding, which is developed from the Central European Rosicrucianism.

The inspiration walks gain after a few times an intimacy and a strong Together-be-Experience. Precisely through it, the Christ nearness becomes strongly experienaceable – from the personal until the cosmic way of appearance ; spoken inter-religious, it is the touching experience of the most intimate personal friendship with God, and thus the strongest expression of God fostered by an I- person! And what they send down in the sunbeams is their deed. And if you watch the astral body of the earth, then you see something like thankfulness of the whole plant soul, which receives these sunbeams. And ... how about a whole term of a year! When the plants open, it is as an heartful expression for inner soul processes of the earth as what the creative and giving spirits feel towards the sun. ... (This was so made possible) that one of the spirits of the sun united his astral body with the earth. ... The one, that we call the Christ-spirit who has his astral body ... united with the earth. ...Since that date (of Golgotha) the Earth has undergone a significant change because the earth and the body of Christ has become one since then .... And how infinitely the emotional life is deepened when one looks into this mystery!“ (GA 98, 12/01/1907) Inspiration walks can offer the instrument of a sustainable "Presencings" - a particular form of Go- meditation, a form which can lead to the cultic form of the so-called "Cosmic Cult". Towards this direction also suggest Rudolf Steiner - about a necessary "future cult", in which particularly "Earthly elementary beings who know about the future" are present (15).

From moods and beings to being-thoughts

„If i tell you from spirits oft he … hirachys … so this are beings which have to speak out of spiritual higher worlds tot he mansoul. If one comes after sufficient time to particularly intimate, idyllic and majestouse places and views - so to places and views that have a deeper or fuller character and thus a receiving-organ character -, then, in a total contemplation-listening, one can grasp-feel the presence mood (foreground mood), the character, that penetrating dignity and the essential own wisdom from it. In the spruce forest with rocks and streams, where the sun's rays can go through yet, there is a kind of a high fine gnome-like wisdom. Just the gnoms open us, if we take part to their consciousness, the "listening" of hierarchies- and Sophia- thoughts . Because "... especially behind the elementarybeings of the mineral world, (one sees) higher beings, that finally are leading up until the first hierarchy ...." (GA 240,20.04.24)

And in this way can be seen in the present consciousness of the Gnomes "(the) ...beings of the elementary world ... do not think their thoughts,. they think the world-thoughts " (GA 17, Chapter " About spiritual worldbeings ") Most strongly it is in time of winter Holynights (16). The Undines from the waterfalls lighted by sun and with bended branch trees- bring us into a fulfilled healing- forces like wisdom; the sylphs in the sun-lighten edge of a old birch forest - the wisdom of the playful "right way and mode"; to the horizon in dry air, or above animals, through intensive approach shoot salamanders ideas. In all of the wisdom -sound we can hear the intimate attention of Mother Nature – Persephona for all life- developments.

Direct hierarchies and Sophia experiences can easier be grasped when one looks above the horizon and the landscape or one is in an upright-grandiose place (background- and all-embracing moods) are experienced. Often this appears only "on the second look", for ex. while a small break after an animal encounter or after some repeated looking back at these experiences, etc. It penetrates then in our consciousness, sometimes like a storm, or a cross thinking-motif.

And in all this we always can be close to Christ. Steiner emphasizes about what we can achieve in this direction by anthroposophical meditation: "Exact science, exact knowledge it can become ... that the true devoted sees the tree, and the tree in front of his eyes ... becomes to nothingness, and then towards the watching comes the true spiritual beeing of the tree. ... so mankind will proceed to that - and in advance anticipates this conclusion - to realize, that the spiritual being of the sun (Christ) pervades lively the world, does live in all physical beings as well. "(GA 238, 05.09.1924)

Overall, a multitude of spiritual beings are involved in a walking inspiration. And these walks can be in the long run a way to get to know them and learning to distinguish them (17) from another!

This world of thought-reading means, esoterically, the words "occult reading or occult hearing" in the "astral light". Whilst the inspirational walk the astral light is showing the nature's soul, which can be seen in nature such as non-visible light intensity. We learn on the naturpresencing little by little"receiving the nature's soul-being by useing the sensing observation" of what the Steiner intends as "light soul process" from GA 194, 30/11/1919 means that "as a mental process of breathing" is now a part of the "Michael culture" and the "Christ-relationship towards nature" is!

As quoted before, it is also of importance that we contemplate something of significance for the evolution as a whole, something which stirs curiosity in nature’s spiritual beings: “Especially through our innermost things we are intimately related to the inside of nature. If humans could only, by studying spiritual wisdom, really put themselves into dialogue with nature’s spiritual beings (they could e.g. learn something regarding educational questions). …Natural spirits grow tacit if not being told something lying in their field of curiosity. …indeed, those dialogues with spiritual natural beings … are of an exceptionally teaching quality for both sides (towards natural spirits and man)” (GA 232, 25.11.1923)

Through all beings, which after a longer period of awake walks, can direct their consciousness toward us, then meaningful and responsible feelings begin to arise in and around us on .. We will carry then with us, in a way, a kind of "consciousness cloud" full of creatures!

And we take - we're right in principle "a tail" - chasing us through the world.

"Continually produced in the human and spiritual. That which lives in human life as that goes, as it continually out into the world. The man an aura around him, a radiant aura, which he enriched the erdgeistige element of the earth continually. Also, they are taught that the sun, because "... the Christ in us in the right way, we can revive all the light upon the earth around us ...."(GA 218, 23.10. 1922), the refined light around the earth grows out and a moral life force - in nature! - Nourishes. This moral light in nature - is a Holy Spirit, or Sophia light passing through the radiation- Menschenauren also on the way after death - creates permanent:

"(It means) ... finding ... of the divine Sophia ... if the Christ-force (by humans), fully alive, that is, to be full of light penetrated. (GA 202, 25.12. 1920)

"A kind of mind-sphere is formed around the Earth radiates from the etheric bodies come to life ... About this interaction between man and nature-Christ-Sophia, so the total area of Natura Persephonea - Elemental spirits of the orbital period and planet in mind, we are the future - just by walking yet humble inspiration may learn intimate details.

The importance of Inspirational walks for our soul- and consciousness-life

The inspirational walks are a form of conscious walking- meditation (20). We train through them our soul observations with a specific focus. The tendency for the entire inspirational walk goes to a cult character. In the course of the walk we find 7 main steps:

1. Proclamation 2. Sacrifice 3. Transformation 4. Communion and find parallels. Anyway, in preparation and reflection one can already find the attempt to a „Inversed Cult“ and a tendency to a form of „cosmic cult“. (22)

In addition to the Presencingwork, the training effect of meditative walk and soul observations comes anyway to a further soul- and consciousness-deepening. We can wander sometime through our experiences: After the image building on the thema and arising questions and possibly an imagination about it to, then comes the letting go- phase of freeing walk, then remembering and reflection of the questions and topic. Then, after some time of awake wandering we perceive, connected with the exterior, deeply in us and around us. Everywhere the awakeness comes until fright - but, at the same time, theree come up also gratefulness, reverence and joy.

Then start always more and more a talking with nature - that we can arise to consciousnes only through questions in special places! Also the moods of the evening twilight stages are important and very helpful (23). - The inspiration walk develops though itself! –

And the one who has experienced often these developments, knows the following: We become suddenly awake for our own intimate connections to ourselves, a group, a thema, World. Reccurent with- feelings, memories and wakefull developmentsd begin to appear. Memories - on previous inspirational walks, on spiritual childhood experiences, yes, on prenatal experiences – begin to arise. Often this are released through a meeting with an animal , thorugh sounds, smells, or moods. Also a typical experience is that : I feel, around me lies the familiar, that already for long time knows everything!

A futher experience, which often appears clearly only after next walks to the same place, is: " One „knows“ these trees, these places aso., much more intimate and more exact than one could otherwise meet nature.. One can for example have the clear evidence- feeling: "This I will know also after my death!“

Ending note for the praxis: Of course, an inspirational walk – introduction with to all perspectives and details mentioned here – seems awfully overloaded. It's worth, that on such a walk, to forget all when you are outside and only at the reflection step to take them again into awareness. And it is really worth just to live such inspirational walks at some good places!

Its origins are found in the Rosicrucian work of the Middle Age and at Rudolf Steiner in his "soul Calendar", and then, after his encounter with Daniel Dunlop and the "Western Mystery" in Penmaenmawr / Wales and Torquay / Cornwall in 1923 and 1924, in his lecture series 1923-24: GA 223 „The annual cycle as a respiratory process and the four great festivals times“, GA 224 „The human soul in its relation to divine spiritual individualities - the internalization of the annual festivals“, GA 229 „The witnessing of the annual run in four cosmic imagery“, GA 230 „Man as the

It has plenty of time for further developments ... (24).

The collaborative editing

In the Community meditative reflection round, which takes its time (!) and when required with skillful questioning of such tentative statements Example, promotes essential to day arises, usually an intimate atmosphere. This is already an important asset to the group substance (which turns out to be often much later). Important here is also a skilful logging, in which important and belong together end to be well covered.

If it is possible to report after a "Pralayanight" it’s known from experience, it is more mellowed, over looking connections, and often more sustainable.

(1): The inspirational walk arised through spiritual experiences in walking, cultivated by Dirk Kruse during the Holy Nights in the early 80s, in order to reflect in peace over the past year. In the 90s, though the development of his „soul observations“, it flowed also methodological details . These arised without influence from "Vision Quest" or "Journeys". The „Vision Quest“ (fasting visions search, alone in nature) derived particularly from Native American rites of passage or initiation traditions, and become known through Steven Foster and Meredith Little, among others (Stephen Foster, Meredith Little, Vision Quest, Arun Verlag), can be clearly experienced and consciously penetrated though inspirational walk. Often in shamanistic-oriented work, there is a lack of awareness regarding the experienced processes and the often strong indeed, but also past connected "Spirits" / Beings. Another referrence would be "The Journey" of – despite popular esoteric presentation – the serious self-healing approach by Brandon Bays (Brandon Bays, The Journey, Ullstein Verlag). - With a knowledgeable interlocutor - in stages to an inner "journey" through layers of soul and physical body. The attention to "naked emotions"and the feeling areas in the body, follows the sinking in the "inner source" and then it goes in steps up to a "future integration. Here, too often there is a lack of awareness of the participating forces and beings.

The inspirational walk can be hepfully connected with such methods and basically still many further developments can be find. For the today consciousness soul epoch, appears essentially the conscious penetration of natural / originary processes from inner and outer journey during inspirational walk. Because already soon, the modern soul constitutions could problematise again in own soul the unconsciously ensued central influencies! Basic extensions for inspirational walk methodology can go into a more intense inner soul work , for example, in the direction of biographical work, psychotherapy and psycho-somatic work. On the othe hand, there are other extensions, in a more outer nature-related way, for ex. in the direction of courtyard design, landscape design, ecological research and the research area of "Man and Biosphere", that for. ex. represents a major work area of UNESCO. So, the Social Formation approach would stay in the middle.

(2) The 17 minute-rhythm is a natural stairway of walkin-thinking-connection:1440 Minutes per day, divided by 84 cosmic dayparts, equals 17,14 minutes. 84 times 17 minutes are a day (thanks for this hint to Martn F. Wenner). The question if a new level of perception opens to the walking person every 17 minutes, or if it is revealed by elemantary beings, could be researched in detail. As well the question in which way this is happening. Following Rudolf Steiner, perceptions beyond physical level depend on mercy of the spiritual world. Some quotes: „If he...perceives something in the spirit world, and what he does perceive does not depend on him. It flows towards him as agift of the spiritual world.(GA 9 ,last chapter)

„And one will not perceive, read or hear anything in the higher worlds, when one cannot hold upthis mood of the soul (of resting on the lap of the spiritual beings) – and then awaits, what the beings of the higher worlds have to share, as you face them in this mood“(GA 156, 5.10.1914)

„When we ...perceive in the spiritual world, then... (we) stand...just facing spiritual beings,... .All is beings,... this twofoldness (like the animal being and the matter, that it eats – in the physical world) does not exist there, but what exists, is being, or beings. ...This existing-in-the-beings is filling all the mood of the soul“(GA 138, 29.8.1912)

(3): It is interesting how Rudolf Steiner emphasises, until in the work of knowledge ,“the awareness to the spirits between the physical things” in the nature: “When we walk through a forest....and we meditated (He had given before an example of an meditation) before..., then we are not far ( a rich worldexperience), if we are aware, to perceive the spirits that work and govern between the physical things. The perception of the spiritual world were not so difficult, if the men themselves wouldn´t make it difficult”. (GA140, 16.02.1913)

We aim an enhanced, empowered conciousness out in the void of the world. … we stay awake, standing for moments facing the void alone. That doesn't last for long. The art really opens up a kind of nature secrets, without which one never fully understands the nature. Has one found in oneself - in his center- the together action of the physical and soul like and spiritual world powers, then one can see them out into the world .The together living with ... the world course becomes him a cult, and the result is the cosmic cult, in which man can stay in every moment of his life. From this cosmic cult ...every earthly cult is a symbolic image. This cosmic cult is higherthan any other earth cult. "(GA 219 29.12.1922)

(16) Declerations about the winter and the Holy Nights: "Because we feel like we're wrapped up in these highest spiritual beings, who feel we belong to them in our deepest soul ....", according to Steiner (GA 143, 17.05. 1912). And: "Thoughts interweave in the earth aura and from these thoughts one can read what wants the universe with our Earth processes. You find in nature the direct offspring of the lower hirarchy of angels, the nature spirits, that especially represent all living in nature.: „These beings of the third hirarchy, we find them like they where described today, in our spiritual surrounding, in our nearmost spiritual surrounding ... That, what we, … spiritually have around us as angels, archangels and Archai, spirits of time, that springs forth certain beings … in the nature realms, … (the) nature spirits … ,that have been determined to serve nature. ( GA 136, 05.04.1912 )

Their main message to us, as once described by Rudolf Steiner: „ … You see, how these elementary beings fulfill the connection between earth and spiritual cosmos … and when the human being listens to the gnomes … then the choir of gnomes sounds to him : Strive for waking! … The choir of undines sounds: Think in the spirit! The choir of sylphes … down from the heights: Live creating breathing existence! And … when the fire beings (salamanders) carry theirs into the fire-cloak of the earth … from all the surrounding: Receive loving willpower of god!“( GA 230, 04.11.1923 ) In high conciousness this all speaks of waking-thinking and breathing reception of gods-powers!

One can, depending on the being to which one is listening -with inner question- listening to its conciousness, receive „presencing-worldthought“!

Furthermore, there are - to be classified as elementary entities - the group souls of the stones, plants and animals that are not to communicate with people because of their strong attachment to their "creature Administration" in question.

More significant is the third area of directing Elemental beings, the "spirits of the current times," the soul in the natural environment are present:

"... Not only the regular annual revolution growing and wilting of the plant (supported by the spirits of the orbital periods) causes (but also) Everything ... what with rhythmic recurrence, rhythmic variety, what with the changing circumstances of time and repetition time events related .... " (GA 136, 04.04.1912)

The nature spirits "speak" to us from our environment such as:

"We then lie behind the sense world, the world of nature spirits. Behind the world of nature spirits, we have the world of the spirits of the orbital periods and spirit behind the planet are. (GA 136, 04.04.1912)

After that talk but also the higher elementals, the spirits of the orbital period in a comprehensive way to us through and out the spirits of nature environment:

"(The man sees) ... meditation and concentration is not (only) ... the world of nature spirits, but a 25

This new kind of spirits, which he now perceives, as it were, the commander of the nature spirits.These spiritual beings ... provide ... the astral body of the Earth (there). Can these spiritual beings ... which say no, they were in our environment, but it is actually getting together with them, poured in it, though; ... spirits of nature ... the observed and one can say that they are in the area they is responsible. It goes on in them, and they talk to the spirit.It is as if one were to take from the environment thoughts and feelings, and impulses of will ... So that we might say, even the souls of human beings in this way like to see in this category of spirits have. "(GA 136, 04.04.1912)

If you can pull through the internal training not only with the etheric and astral body "physical release" from the bonding to the physical body but also his first-person body, then you can take part in the gigantic surrounding "Planetary Spirit": "But now we feel when we wake up with our ego,

By nature, elementals, spirits of the planetary orbital period and the overall spirit but were trying to talk about our future angelic hierarchies! They also have some direct re-reflections in nature:

(24) An esoteric background for the spirit-nature-presencing connection can be found in the hidden work of the high master Skythianos, who among other things, has the tasks to "...carry over ... „ and also to bring the necessary mediation in globalism between the esotericsm oft he different worldareas.. He always has to do with the mysterious Tao-working of the (Holy) Spirit in Nature, which was already grasped by the Atlantean: "He spoke of the God, who announced himself in the wind blowing, forest rustling and also in the images of the inner soul life, if those gave him the impulse to look up to a sublime future of humanity. And he called that Tao. " Rudolf Steiner spoke meaningful about Tao as a holy „wisdom core“ of the religion that leads the I through spirituality in nature to the Man core- in a „being-one-wisdom with whole nature“: "The Tao expresses from ... Highest from ... A deep, hidden soul ground and a sublime future at the same time means Tao. With awesome respect, not only Tao will be spoken, but through Tao man will also think to one, who knows what Tao can do. The Tao- religion is based on the principle of development, and it says: What today is around me, it is a stage that will be overcome. I must realize clearly that this development, in which I find myself, has a goal that I develop myself toward a sublime goal, and that in me lives a force that inspires me to come to the big Tao goal. If I feel this great force in me and if I feel that, with me, all beings are stirred to attain this goal, then this force is in me the leading force that meet me from the wind blow, sounds to me from stone, lightens to me from the lightning, sounds to me from thunder, who sends me its light from the sun. In the plant, it appears as growing force, in the animal as sensation and perception. It is the force that permanently creates form after form up to that lofty goals, the force through which I know myself one with whole nature, that flows from me- in me and out of me- with every breath, the symbol of the highest self-evolving spirit, that I feel as life. This force I feel as Tao." (GA 54, 11.16.1905)

This wisdom of the "Great Spirit" as Steiner called it once, must "step by step conceived in the service of Christ understanding ." Because "the means of understanding (for Christ) was just in its time the most limited, it had to be a task for the following times. " The ancient wisdom of the Tao and the old "clairvoyance had to withdraw itself ... to some individual personalities of the West" in order " to be gradually put into the service of Christ- understanding". The "Keeper of the ancient Atlantean wisdom" - "... preserving that which was possible to be brought over from the old Atlantis for future times" ... "one can call Skythianos". (GA 113, 31.08.1909) Another timely task performed Skythianos: he "wander" and keep the connection between "masters" - it told Rudolf Steiner once Friedrrich Rittelmeyer (see Thomas Meyer, Ichkraft and clairvoyance, Chapter "of small and large West"). It is important to note that at all, it just presencing inspiration and walks should never go to the tendency of a "Vervisionierung of European culture" on the dangers of Rudolf Steiner, particularly as regards the Mongol storms pointing (GA 171, 17.9.1916), but a clear and free imaginative, inspirational and intuitive work is accompanied by a sober and sharp thinking! Thomas Meyer formulated in his research work on Tao and Skythianos ("I am force and clairvoyance", see below): "A best extract of the spirituality of humanity was preserved on an American beside- stage for later times." The world wisdom was hidden there, in the Indian culture, where incarnated themselves many souls, which searched fort hat which connects all religions, or which were looking for the Virgin Mary and Mother Earth being.

On Skythianos and his presence in the Holy Spirit-Sophia- nearness the following quote is illuminating: "... the togetherness of all bodhisattvas - the Christian view would call it the Holy Spirit. ... which enjoy the bliss to be able to contemplate Christ, from their spiritual heights. We are talking about ... the incarnation of Bodhisattva, when we mention the names Skythianos, Zoroaster and Buddha." (GA 113, 31.08.1909)

Thomas Meyer, as well as Rudolf Steiner, and Eleanor Merry recognized in the English anthroposophist Daniel Dunlop such a representative "of North American Saturn Mysteries" (Steiner told personnaly to Lievegoed BCJ). Ita Wegman formulated her experience about the face of the already dead Daniel Dunlop: "In this face came to light his very originary-own being. ... Thisface was like a revelation, as from that head sounded forth the word TAO, and a image appeared , as this face belonged to a man who was listening to the revelations of the Great Spirit. A person who listened with all endeavour the rustle of the wind, which seemed to be one with that was hidden beyond nature. " Steiner had already noticed in her presence, that Dunlop „had old west knowledge "and had the task " to teach humanity about cosmic connections. " Interestingly, the 28

Dunlop inaugurated the first global humanist-economic meeting and chaired the "World Power Conference", which exists until today. He also led in London in 1928 the only globally oriented and public conference on "Spiritual Research" - which was supported by Ita Wegmann, but not by Dornach! It seems that his inner development from the nature-connected Tao-World spirit - Experiences as an Indian from an earlier inkarnation, leads directly to the same with Rudolf Steiner and anthroposophy related global social-building and world-spirit future impulse. This is aa impulse of a conscious worldspirit- nature-social building grasping, which also – in a modest form- finds itself in the Inspirational Walk - method.

Rudolf Steiner called Dunlop his "brother" and at their first meeting in 1922 held him by hand hiden under the table by a quarter of an hour (see Thomas Meyer. He was gratefull to Dunlop for the special nature connected lectures in Penmaenmawr, Ikley 1923 and Torquay 1924th Penmaenmawr, that allowed Steiner the grasping of the central new-mysteries impulse of the Christmas Conferences: Ita Wegmann: "... Rudolf Steiner always looked for solutions, that would bring about a change (in the situation of the ) – It happens in 1923 in Penmaenmawr and Ilkley.. And it seemed to me, as if from that moment on Rudolf Steiner envisioned a solution. " He was very sad and basically knowledge of future ways of working (see also the elaboration of Malte Diekmann, „The Path of Initiation -. Anthroposophy and new mysteries ") was coming up in his dialog there with the naturespirituality! A survey of the global effort that Steiner had it, such as the plan to travel to America in 1925 (according to George Adams, handed down by Gene Gollogly to - see in his biography book "Elizabeth Vreede," note 220, published by the Ita Wegman Institute), then one can have the impression that he had at the end of his life a sustained encounter with the Western Mysteries, whose impulses, however, tragically he could no more run it ...! These are impulses of a deeper and together esoteric research, accompanied by wide global public effect. In Penmaenmawr it is about a concrete deepening in the spiritual world through imagination, inspiration and intuition and into the future development of the elementary beings. In Torquay, just before the end of Steiner's public activity - it was specifically about the further development of the soul observations according to "How to Know Higher Worlds", with the example of metal and crystal meditations, and also with the impulse to meditative interaction between self-trusted people - the so-called "Saturnweg" (GA 243 The Initiats consciousness ").

Also recognized by Rudolf Steiner in Dunlop's skills to design Anthroposophical Events in inspiratory natural environments, something important, and future. He came to the summer course in Penmaenmawr repeatedly and emphatically back to it in detail:

"Penmaenmawr is a place he does not like ... would be better for this anthroposophic enterprise can be chosen. Because this is true of the Penmaenmawr immediately tangible astral atmosphere in the the one designed to come, what is expected from the Druid has service ...... here are some things even played that belonged to the work of King Arthur.The ... opportunity to speak in this place now to just about ... about the interior of anthroposophy anthroposophy - I reckon one of the most important sections in the development of our anthroposophical life.The merit of having made this institution deserves ... the direction in this very insightful and energetic action of Mr. Dunlop .... That which is made possible, is actually only the truly spiritually insightful way to choose this place has become possible. " (GA 227, Appendix: Report 9/9/1023)

Detailed Steiner led the then "presencing" of, with an emphasis on intellectual look now conscious imagination - to achieve inspiration and intuition. When they parted in Penmaenmawr Rudolf Steiner said after big thanks to Daniel Dunlop: "My opinion is that this can go straight from summer school in Penmaenmawr tremendous fertilization on the whole anthroposophical movement and its branches in England.The bodhisattva is waiting ... but people need to make only in a sufficiently large number is able to understand him.And if the question is Fen problems raised as to whether those who say that the spiritual world have to tell, this spiritual humanity, we may say that ... there are many means of understanding that can be applied .... the understanding among people, have to say from higher worlds was something easier in time, was spoken in that of sacred sites from ... we lived (in this case during the meeting) in an atmosphere that is actually still wonderful broadcast in those ancient shrines here ... why It was a good move, even to choose the place and just ... (It was about a) spirit-searching, to introduce the spirit into the life on earth .... " (GA 227 Appendix, in Steiner's essay "Das ", 3 Vol # 6, 16/09/1923) Interestingly this is also his notebook entry for 25 August lecture: notebook (for 25 August Lecture): "Due to the mineral world, the way (the physical hidden) is the highest spiritual = may exercise against the vision." During the Christmas Conference, Steiner said after thanking Dunlop and his partner Miss Merry, he meant "... really ... that it will mean a very significant step forward for the anthroposophical movement, if anything the one to run is what ... as a rising crop of the Germination of Penmaenmawr been suggested ... is.... Was it meets in Penmaenmawr from the outset that what we have seen otherwise never meet ... Addition: The Cityblessing – a special form of an Inspirationalwalk

The Cityblessing is an Inspirationalwalk in the city, in which forces and beings of the town or city (1), it’s areas and places – which are partly not so inspirative but disturbed – can be perceived, honoured, dignified and blessed.

One form is this:

A group is meeting at a central place which is maybe meaningful for the spirit of the city. After a preparation and a ritual – alone, as two or three - it’s taken the way until the cityborder and then back to the starting place.

If possible the group is splitting the whole city so that the whole city is covered. We can draw ways into the citymap before accordant to the number of participants – so that it’s looking like a picture of a flower-blossom – in which every blossomleave is one route forth and back. Weg o ne way forth and a parallel way back.

On the way we can dedicate us to parts of the city, the places, streets, buildings (2) etc. – with corepoints – so that we pereceive, cherish and dignify until into the forces and beings.

In fitting way ist can lead – maybe into friendship – until into a blessing.

Sometimes it’s only possible the making contact – as a first step. Befriending needs often first a distance. Because we quick can get to quick grasping and infringing into a spiritual beings like into a human souls! The blessing can happen as example in an attitude of a „I see you and honour you!“ or also in an imaginative sending of a „Healing may come to you“ etc..

When we have reached the cityborder we can look for a place which is middling horizonview, width or overview. Now we can send the imaginations from out of the city into the nature-surrounding and into the horizont of the city. With the attitude: „So it is in the places, streets and buildings oft he city!“ – Here we can middle pictures or imaginations and feelings or inspirations (also from the pains of places) and knowledge or intuitions. Only this language of imaginations, inspirations and intuitions can be understood from the high elementarybeings and spiritual beings oft he surround. 31

Then it can be tried to see and receive inspirations or answers from the surroundingspirit (like in a normal inspirationalwalk)- and to middle this on the way back to the places, streets, buildings and social organism..

Being back on the central place we can end again with a ritual.

We meet after all to an dinner together. After eating it’s following the telling from the walk- experiences. So that we can „see“ all more from the city; maybe working on a mapping and reworking on details after it.

Even if this already may have positive effects for the city and the single one is experiencing a more wide understanding and connecting with the city – it make sense to do such cityblessings more times. Sure it is calling for phantasy and there are possible diverse designs of such citywalks.

Just like at an Inspirationalwalk it’s central to come to an togetherness and a „thinking-together“ with spiritual beings and the genius of the city – in a way that should lead to a loyal relation with this beings. Beings which can have back a central role in the whole work with citydesign in future.

Through this that we have created in this way the cristalised roomthought we have created such forms, so that spiritual beings, which have the etherbody as their lowest layer, can sink down themselves into the created closed room and find occasion at the forms of the room to be there. … As example: we dont have until now a building-style for trainstations, because man is not feeling yet what is happening when a train is arriving … when the train is leaving … and that this what is happening can come to an outter expression. Arriving and leaving Locomotives, that what is diving in can come to expression in the hoolow forms oft he buildings. Hopefully mankind will come to … connect the thoughts with the leaving with the leaving-place for planes, so that one feels in the form o fit that there now will fly away a plane.
