North Eastern Australian Football League (NEAFL)

The North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) will be introduced in 2011, bringing together teams from NSW, Queensland, ACT and NT into one competition.

The NEAFL w ill cons is t o f two con ferences - the Nor thern Con ference (Qld & NT teams ) an d the Eas tern Con ference (NSW & ACT teams)

In 2011, Team GWS will join current AFL Canberra teams to form the Eastern Conference, comprising seven clubs. The ’ feeder team will combine with existing QAFL teams to form the Northern Conference, comprising 10 teams, including NT Thunder. Please see complete list below:

• Please email Penny with artwork for the AFLQ logo and AFLQ sppgonsor logos on all items. Please also include size specifications.

• Refer to AFL Queensland Brand Guidelines when providing new artwork.

• Ensure clubs/leagues sign-off on final artwork to cover your end.

• When producing artwork, logo size specifications must be included for approval. Important to note, both height and width specifications must be supplied.

AFL Queensland Preferred Clothing Supplier Guidelines 2011 Expectations of Quality

• Sample embroidery of AFLQ and AFLQ Sponsor logos must always be provided to AFLQ Corporate Relations prior to production.

• Embroidery omitting the ® Trade Registered symbol will be judged on an each case basis, written approval from the AFL must be given via AFL Queensland.

• As a contracted preferred apparel supplier, licensed to reproduce the AFL Queensland and affiliated logos, it must be reproduced in line with the AFL State Administration – Queensland Brand Guidelines. Any alteration to the logo set out in the guidelines or changes to the approved final artwork will result in the supplier reproducing the garments at the suppliers cost.

IMPORTANT • If the AFL Queensland/Affiliated League logo or sponsor logo is reproduced at a lower standard than outlined/expected, the supplier will be asked to reproduce the garments in question, at their cost. AFL Queensland Preferred Clothing Supplier Guidelines 2011 Supplier Catalogues

• IttImportant artktwork approval process i.e. Use of AFL Queensland logo on all printed matter (posters, flyers, websites etc.) requires written approval from AFL Queensland’s Corporate Relations Department on final artwork.

• If the AFL Queensland logo is used without prior written consent AFL Queensland may require the material in question to be retracted and replaced with an AFL Queensland approved version at the suppliers cost. All costs associated with retracting an item from market will be at the cost of the supplier.

• When reproducing an AFL Queensland Affiliates’ logo, on on-field apparel (e.g. guernseys) a white block-out must be behind the Affiliates’ blue text and a white key- line is around the AFL ellipse. If embroidering on a polo shirt, or the like, the first preference is to use the above style, alternative, white text may be used. • Please seek AFL Queensland’s advice if in doubt.

AFL Queensland Preferred Clothing Supplier Guidelines 2011 On-field Guernsey- Front

• AFL Queensland must sight and approve all new Guernsey designs.

• All clubs must seek written approval from an AFL club to use their regitistered guernsey des ign. Any AFL Q ueensl and affili a te d c lu bs w hom w is h to use a registered AFL design must contact AFL Queensland Corporate Relations to obtain the appropriate contacts and seek written permission to use that design .

• The AFL Queensland or affiliated league logo is to be worn on the right breast of all playing guernsey. The logo should be approximately 20cm down from the shoulder seam and 12cm across from the side seam of the guernsey and must be at a size of 8.5cm at the widest point of the AFL ellipse* . (Please refer to Guernsey layout diagram - Logo a)

AFL Queensland Preferred Clothing Supplier Guidelines 2011 Supplier Branding

• A manufacturers (preferred apparel supplier's) logo is permitted only below the front V collar of a guernsey and is be placed in the middle of the garment, exactly 1cm below the ‘V’. If the garment has an alternate neck line to a ‘V-shape’ the manufacturer must provide sample artwork to the Corppporate Relations Department for ggppuidance and approval. This logo is to be a one-colour version.

• The one-colour manufacturer’s loggpo, must complement the desi gn of the Guernsey. For example, if the Guernsey is blue, with white numbers, the logo should be white. In consultation with the club, the colours must be approved by AFL Queensland’s Corporate Relations Department.

• Proofs on ALL final artwork must be shown and approved by AFL Queensland’s Corporate Relations Department. On-field Short Layout (excluding the NEAFL)

• A logo to a maximum size of 40 square centimetres may be worn on the front or back of each leg on the shorts worn by a player (i.e. maximum of two logos per short, in addition to the AFL Queensland short strip.)

AFL Queensland Preferred Clothing Supplier Guidelines 2011 NEAFL On-field Short Layout

• There is a preferred design for the NEAFL short in 2011, which comes in line with the AFL fully sublimated short . In 2011 this short design will not be compulsory, but optional for clubs participating in the NEAFL competition.

• In 2012 , this short design will be compulsory for the NEAFL competition, unless otherwise advised.

• All other leagues across the state will be using the traditional ‘short strip ’ until otherwise advised.

• Full sppgg,ecifications of the new design will be sent through once confirmed, but will include the AFL Queensland and Powerade logos.

• Please ensure you are using the most current Powerade logo.
