1) STREET PLAY FOR VOTING AWARENESS Street play written and directed by students of GCE, Karad and performed at various location to spread awareness about the Voting during the election .

2) SPIC MACAY - RAJASTHANI FOLK SINGERS We had performance of Rajastani Folk Singers through the Spic Macay Foundation. The event was organised for all students and faculty by the cultural committee of our college.

3) YOUTH FESTIVAL Piyusha Kulkarni, student of GCE, Karad, participated in state level Sugam solo singing competition in Youth Festival. She secured 2nd rank at district level.

2017-18.3.2 Participation Certificates ​ 4) KOJAGIRI PORNIMA An evening event arranged on the occasion of Kojagiri Pornima. There were various performances, singing, instrumentals and poems, performed by the students of GCE,Karad.

5) NATYARANJAN - MEGHMALHAR A playlet performed by students of GCE, Karad on the topic of importance of Water and to spread awareness about water scarcity. A comedic and emotional drama which was brought to life with heartfelt acting of the students. It was directed by professional directors Mr. Kunal Gajbhare and Mr. Yogesh Balgandharva.

6) ANNUAL DAY - AAROHA College level annual gathering arranged by students of GCE, Karad. Various Singing, dancing,acting and instrument playing performances by the most talented students of the college.

7) POSTER MAKING COMPETITION ​ Poster making competition to spread awareness about social topics. Students could choose their social issue and present a meaningful poster to bring out the importance of the topic.

8) SHIV JAYANTI On the auspicious occasion of Shiv Jayanti, students of GCE, Karad prepared a drumming performance and performed in a traditional way in college. Also arranged speeches about Chatrapati Maharaj and his greatness.

9) CARNIVAL DYP CITY - SINGING COMPETITION Piyusha Kulkarni, student of GCE,Karad secured 1st prize in a singing competition conducted at Carnival DYP City. The competition had participants from all over Maharashtra state.

10) RADIOCITY SINGING COMPETITION Piyusha Kulkarni, student of GCE,Karad secured 2nd runner up prize in national level singing competition conducted by RadioCity 95 FM. The competition had participants from all over India.

1) STREET PLAY - 26TH JANUARY, 2019 Street play organised on the occasion of Republic Day 2019 on the topic of unity within the country- “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. The play was written by Ketaki Joshi and directed by Prathamesh Deshpande, students of GCE, Karad.

2018-19.1.1 Street Play Team ​ 2) ABHIYANTA KARANDAK State level elocution competition arranged by students of GCE, Karad in collaboration with the lead scheme of Shivaji University. The competition had 2 variants, 1- Marathi Elocution, 2 -English Elocution. The whole event was organised by students of GCE, Karad and had participants from colleges all over Maharashtra. The whole event was highly energetic and enthusiastically conducted.

3) PARISSPARSH KARANDAK College drama team participated in a competition arranged by the Parissparsh Foundation. The whole skit was written by Madhura Jadhav, directed by Krunal Jambhale and Omkar Kakde and performed by the drama team of GCE, Karad. The skit was about corrupt politicians and buying votes for money. Parissparsh Karandak is a state level open skit competition organised by Parissparsh Youth Creation, Karad. Professional and non-professional teams take part in this competition from all over the state.

4) NATYARANJAN - ALTERS Natyaranjan 2019 was a suspense thriller written around the topic of multiple personality disorder. It was one of the most nail biting edges of seat entertainment with extremely realistic acting by the students.

5) DRAWING COMPETITION Drawing competition to spread awareness about social topics. Students could choose their social issue and present a meaningful drawing to bring out the importance of the topic.

7) SAND ART WORKSHOP Sand Art workshop arranged to teach students basics of sand art techniques. It was a highly interactive and tactile experience for the students to work with a natural resource - SAND. ​

1) SPIC MACAY We had a performance of professional Bihu dancers of international acclaim. It was organised by the cultural committee of our college through the Spic Macay foundation. The performances were so entertaining that during the interaction even the professors joined to learn the dance form.

4) PARISSPARSH College drama team participated in a competition arranged by Parissparsh Foundation and organized a skit which was a satirical comedy and a take on female feticide. Highly enthusiastic and energetic acting by the students. Received special appreciation from the judges for the realistic costume of Yamraj.

7) ABHIYANTA KARANDAK It was the most glamorous event conducted. It consisted of two sections, one for Marathi and one for English respectively with a total of around 100 participants. Students were imbibed with various new ideas and also a new perspective. It filled everyone with a great deal of experience.

8) SHIV JAYANTI On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj, Statue was inaugurated and Deshmukh Sir guided and enlightened us about our future and also about the life of our great leader Shivaji Maharaj. ​

9) NATYARANJAN - THE SPACE Natyaranjan 2020 performed spectacularly on a very general topic 'The Space' which focused on the space, privacy that children need for themselves which must be known to every parent.It is the most awaited event of the year and this year a social family drama was arranged which was related to problems faced by youth with their parents. Students showcased a lot of their acting skills promising a bright future.

10) MUSIC WORKSHOP - “Voice Culture and Light Vocals” A music workshop was organised on “Voice Culture and Light Vocals” , conducted by ​ Mr. Vaibhav Potdar. This workshop was aimed to improve the student’s mindset when approaching a song and to educate them about the various techniques to improve their voice quality

11) SINGING EXAM -AKHIL BHARATIYA GANDHARVA MAHAVIDYALAYA MANDAL, MUMBAI Anjali Mane, student of GCE,Karad passed the Indian Classical Music first exam (Prarambhik) conducted by Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalata, Mumbai. She passed the exam with distinction and also received special appreciation.

3) INDEPENDENCE DAY - 15th August, 2020 On the occasion of Independence Day, Gcek's 'The cultural Committee' organized a live event full of performances like singing, speech, dance, music, etc. The Music Club of GCE, Karad made an online YouTube Music video of students singing the song 'Maa tujhe salaam'. Everything in the video (Music, Video Editing and singing) was done by the students of GCE,Karad.

4) HUNAR - Content Creator Competition A content creator competition held on a digital platform which contained posting content on the Instagram page of the cultural committee and based on no of likes 'content creator of GCEK' was concluded. The agenda of the event was to help out students to get over the homesickness due to pandemic by presenting their quarantine work which included drawings, paintings, photography, Monolog, instrument playing, poetry, dancing, and singing videos. 5) MUKTACHANDA Muktachanda, meaning freedom of thought and expressing the same in written form, was an event held digitally on the official Instagram page of the cultural committee of GCE, Karad. On the occasion of festival of lights- , the event was arranged and the Guest of honor Ms. Prachi Satardekar and Mr. Aditya Baraskar taught and presented their Muktchand to the viewers.

6) REPUBLIC DAY - 26th January, 2021 On the occasion of Independence day 2021, The Art Circle of GCE, Karad made an online YouTube Music video of students singing the song 'Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo'.. The Video aimed to showcase the achievements of the students and faculty members of GCE, Karad during the lockdown of 2020. Everything in the video (Music, Video Editing and singing) was done by the students of GCE, Karad.

7) MARATHI BHASHA PANDHARWADA Marathi bhasha pandharwada is held every year between 1st January to 15th January. A program is conducted with the motive of spreading and preserving the , culture where students express their thoughts on the view in marathi. This year, we celebrated it by making a YouTube Video of students reciting Marathi poems.
