James “Jimmy” Susumu Nishimura, 72, of Kailua, died Jan. 12, 1995 at Castle Medical Center. He was born June 29, 1922 in Honolulu and was a 1940 graduate of Iolani High School. He was a member of the Varsity Victory Volunteers, the Army 442nd Regiment, and graduated from the University of Michigan and Drake University. He was a former Internal Revenue Agent and worked at the Navy Public Works Center. He retired as an accountant after 20 years of federal service and was a former member and treasurer of Mid Pacific Country Club and a member of the DAV Oahu Chapter #1. Survived by wife, Pearl Richardson Nishimura; children, Linda Nishimura-Flood, Keali’I Flood, Holly H. Nishimura and Gerald Urbaniak of PA; Jary R. and Shanan K.
