Team News/New Signings

We would like to welcome new signings Ryan Schmid, Jack Bradshaw and Callum Stead to Herns Way. I’m sure George Ironton receives a bottle of wine from all three will be great signings and additions to an already Committee Member and Fixtures Secretary Mike excellent squad that Nicky Ironton has assembled. Isaacs for winning the August Committee Player of the month Ryan Schmid is an enormous giant of a young man who stands at 6ft 6 tall who plays is goal, joining us from Kings Langley and who previously wore the colours of our Foot- ball League neighbours Stevenage FC. Jack Bradshaw has also played for Stevenage FC and is an accomplished de- fender who has also seen service with Maidenhead United, St Neots Town and Royston Town and joins us from Big- gleswade Town FC. And finally, Callum Stead a young at- tacking player joins us from Biggleswade Town having pre- viously seen action with Luton Town’s Youth, Boreham- wood, Hoddesdon Town and Langford.

We hope Ryan, Jack and Callum have great careers here at Herns Way and all three have made immediate impacts. Ryan’s crucial saves on his debut against Berkhamsted and Halesowen Town, Jack’s fantastic shot at Halesowen Town, resulted in a goal for George Ironton and Callum has al- ready netted for us on his debut against Harpenden Town last week.
