Carriage House restoration: Key elements In addition to preserving the “authentic and historical elements of the Carriage House,” the Atherton Dames’ plan also involves bringing the building into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and current building regulations. Although there are two phases, the Dames say they hope to raise all the funds needed to complete both phases of the project at the same time.
