Mrs. Burns Campbell's corn husk dolls will be displayed in the living room. tun The "Grounds Tour" will include four natural rock gardens, two perennial gardens, a vegetable garden and a new Ever­ lasting Garden. JOHNSTON - BADGER WEDDING Miss Connie Badger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ba• was married to steve Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloy,:,--' Johnston on August 12th at the groom's home on High street by Mrs. Ellen Dewitt, Justice of the Peace. The attendants were Miss Jeannue Harris, Maid of Honor, and Scott Johnston, brother of the groom was Best Man. The reception was held at the Derby Community Hall. The bride and groom were transported to the reception in the lad­ der truck of which he is a crew member in the Milo Fire Dept. The bride graduated from Shepard Hill Regional High School in Dudley, Mass. in 1976. She is employed at the Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover. The groom graduated from Po V. H. S. in the Class of 1973. SPEDY WEEKLY Here's some more news of your SPEDY workers. The workers have only one week of work left. The work­ ers at the schools will have to work extra hard to get the work done before school be­ gins this year. The people at recreation wl have a full schedule keepin the fields mowed and cleaned up; also with tournaments and playoffs for 'local baseball and softball teamso The day care center will miss one . of the Spedy work­ ers for various odd jobs such as typing_ and answering the phone, The senior citizens will es­ pecially miss the Spedy work­ ers for mowing lawns, wash­ ing windows "and floors, and other various odd jobs. All Spedy participants around Milo and Brownville will attend a lecture on alcohol arid drug abuse to be presented at the Milo Town Hall on Friday, August 18, at 2 p. mo The last week of work in­ cludes a scheduled outing for the workers to Bar Harboro This includes horseback rid­ ing, go-cart land, swimming on the beach and other tourist attractions.
