Summary One day, a long time ago, two brothers spotted a White Stag and gave it great chase. Though they fail to capture the stag, their dying father prophesies that the Stag will guide their people to the promised land. But the journey is long, and the sighting of the White Stag few and far. Does this Promised Land even exist, or will the brothers and their people be forced to always be wanderers?

About Kate Seredy (1899-1975) was a Hungarian author and illustrator best known for The Good Master and The White Stag.
