Warm Naga SMILES!

this time of the year, as another one unfolds, we tend to look back and see how far we have come. In this last quarter’s issue of the Naga SMILES Magazine for the year 2018, we bring you the many accomplishments that not only the City Government, but also every Nagueño, had— recognitions in sports,AT music, and in academics that continuously bring us pride as a city, knowing that we excel in various fields of learning; introduction to further technological innovations that help in the advancement of our services in government; updating of the existing policies to effectively address societal menace; empowerment of the least economically resilient sectors thru the creation of opportunities; establishment of new partnerships with other municipalities and cities for sharing of knowledge for growth; individual and collective undertakings of the city council in their respective sectors of assignments inclusive of their term as lawmakers in the city—infrastructure, employment generation, human resource capacity building, among others that greatly benefitted the community; and celebration of notable deeds and practices— milestones best to end the year with.

In all these glory and triumphs that we had for the past 70 years since Naga’s birth as a Chartered City, we will always be looking back to remember the sacrifices and carry on with us the lessons of the past as we face another year with a renewed commitment to do more and be more of ourselves for others and for the city.

This season of thanksgiving, let it be that the priceless gifts of care and support that we have for each other as one City of Naga be the greatest gift that we will cherish as Nagueños.
