MIAMI –The Florida Marlins are set to host the Houston Astros (August 20-22) at Sun Life Stadium. The three-game homestand will feature fan giveaways, including: a Gaby Sanchez T-shirt courtesy of Stanley Tools as part of Billy Bingo (August 20), Marlins Clapper courtesy of Waste Management (August 21) and Billy the Marlin Lunch Cooler presented by Waste Management (August 22). Starting Friday, August 20, the Marlins kick off the homestand against the Houston Astros with Jiffy Lube Fiesta Friday. First pitch is set for 7:10 P.M. at Sun Life Stadium. The series against the Astros continues on Saturday, August 21 at 7:10 P.M. with Baker Concrete Super Saturday. This Saturday will be headlined by a post-game on-field concert featuring Tito El Bambino with Zion and Lennox following a fireworks spectacular. Also, the first 15,000 fans will receive a Marlins Clapper courtesy of Waste Management.

The homestand concludes with Marlins Family Sunday on August 22 at 1:10 P.M. Fans are invited to join the pre-game festivities at the Strike Zone including games and activities from Radio Disney and fans can take pictures with a Marlins player. The ceremony will take place in left field at the end of the 5th inning.

JIFFY LUBE FIESTA FRIDAY: Every Friday night home game is a Jiffy Lube Fiesta Friday. Fans are encouraged to come early for the Fiesta Friday Happy Hour at the Strike Zone from 5:30- 7PM for live Salsa music from Group Solaris, Dominando con los Marlins, live broadcasts and an autograph session with Latino Legend, Camilo Pascual, from 5:30-6:00 PM and Marlins players from 6:00-6:20PM. FRIDAY NIGHTS ARE FUN: The Marlins Community Foundation hosts a key fundraiser every Friday night during Marlins home games at the Community Corner, section 149. Fans can check out the raffle, silent auction, mystery table and other special features. The Corner is open from the time gates open at 5:30 and continues until the end of the third inning.

BILLY BINGO: Fans can play Billy Bingo during every Friday night home game this season. MARLINS FANS CARE WEEKEND: The generosity from Fans Care donors will enable less fortunate youth in South Florida, who participate in non-profit organizations, to attend a game either on August 20 or August 22 vs. the Houston Astros. Through these efforts, children will enjoy a baseball game in a Major League ballpark and experience memories that will last forever. SEASON TICKET HOLDER PHOTO DAY: Season Ticket Holders are invited to attend the Annual Season Ticket Holder Photo Day, for the opportunity to take photographs of their favorite Marlins players and coaches. Soon after, he became the first voice for the famous duo Héctor y Tito, having success throughout the U.S. and Latin America. In 2003, they received a Billboard Latin Award and a Tu Musica Award. By 2004, Tito El Bambino went solo, solidifying and enhancing his position through all Latin America as one of the best performers in . FLORIDA STATE LEAGUE SCHOLARSHIP CEREMONY: The Marlins Community Foundation will host the winners of the Florida State League Scholarship Program and their families along with the President of the FSL, Chuck Murphy at the game on August 22, 2010. Kelly Schnackenberg of the Marlins Community Foundation will present Chuck Murphy, President of the Florida State League a check for $12,000 to help fund twelve $1,500 scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year. The Marlins Community Foundation has donated $95,000 over the last eleven seasons to this program. The Marlins Community Foundation raises funds for these scholarships during Spring Training where they conduct raffles, silent auctions, a clinic for children and a party for fans.

50-50 RAFFLE: The Florida Marlins Community Foundation will host a 50-50 Raffle every Sunday during the 2010 season. Raffle tickets are available for the following donations: 1 for $3, 2 for $5, 5 for $10 or 15 for $20. The raffle is held from the time the gates open until the end of the third inning. One lucky winner will receive one-half of the money collected from the raffle that day. The other half will be used for the Cornerstones for Kids programs. MARLINS STARS AND STRIPES PROGRAM: The “Stars and Stripes" ticket program for United States Military staff including: Active and Reserve personnel, National Guard, and their dependents, allowing them to attend Sunday Marlins regular season games at no cost. To receive complimentary tickets, eligible military personnel, or dependents, must present their military identification card (DOD or Homeland Security Cards) at the Gate F box office at Sun Life Stadium, on the day of the game, at least one hour prior to the start of the regular season game. This program is good for Bullpen Box tickets for all 13 Sunday regular season Marlins home games.

SNAPSHOT SUNDAY: The first 100 Marlins fans will have the chance to have their photograph taken with a Marlins player. Fans are reminded to bring their own camera. Snapshot Sunday is located at Strike Zone at Gate H and begins at 12:00 PM.

HOMES FOR HAITI - WASTE MANAGEMENT/FOOD FOR THE POOR CHECK PRESENTATION: Waste Management has made a $50,000 donation towards the “Homes for Haiti” project which aims to build a village of 25 double homes, plus sanitation and a fresh water well. Each double home will shelter two families or a total of 8-10 people.

DIAMOND DASH: After every Marlins Family Sunday, kids 12 and under get to run the bases on the field in the Marlins Diamond Dash (weather permitting). The entrance for Diamond Dash is th through section 140 / 141 and fans can begin lining up in the 8 inning. Parents may walk them down to the field, but not participate unless their child needs assistance. We also ask that children do not slide at any base or Home Plate for their own safety. Billy’s Bunch kids club members can present their 2010 membership card in order to move up to the Diamond Dash Fast Lane.

BILLY’S BIRTHDAY: During this Sunday’s game, we will be celebrating Billy’s Birthday! All of his local friends (Burnie, TD, Stanley & Sebastian), along with a few outsiders (Raymond from the Rays, Chukker from the Int’l Polo Club) will be in attendance before, during and after the game to have fun with Billy and his fans playing games, dancing and whatever other crazy things they come up with. CELEBRATION CLUB: Marlins fans can display a personalized message on Marlins Vision for the home crowd to see for a donation to the Marlins Community Foundation. Personalized messages will be shown during the middle of the 3rd inning of every Marlins home game. Messages will run for the first 12 people who call the Marlins office to make a reservation or sign up at www.marlins.com/celebrationclub. The cost is $50.00 per message, with all proceeds benefiting the Marlins Community Foundation. In addition, each caller will have the option to pick up a gift bag (adult or child’s) for a $40 donation. Billy The Marlin or the Marlins Mermaids can deliver a gift bag directly to a fan’s seat for a $100 donation. If it is a fan’s birthday, Billy/Mermaids will lead the section to sing “Happy Birthday.” The first person to place a reservation for a delivery and message will be featured on Marlins Vision as the “Catch of the Day.” You can also have your child (only one per game) accompany Billy The Marlin on the field during the 7th inning stretch to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” for a $100 donation.
