There can be little doubt that Queen Anne’s choice to be in the inaugural class would be Bob Houbregs ’49. His accomplishments as All-City and baseball player for Queen Anne are well known in Seattle history. Later he played college for the UW and professional basketball. Bob is the only player from our state in the College Basketball Hall of Fame. Sadly, we lost Bob on July 28, 2015.
