The following is from a newspaper clipping about her funeral: "The funeral of Mrs. Charles Garinger was held from her late residence on Monday afternoon and was very largely attended. Service at the home and graveside was conducted by Rev. A J Fletcher, assisted by Rev R H Somerville. Interment was made in the Baptist cemetery. The pallbearers were six cousins of the deceased: Wesley Johnson, Hugh Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Elmer Johnson, Edward Johnson and James Johnson. Harold Johnson, organist of Stoney Creek United Church, sang Does Jesus Care." Charles is brother of Edward Garinger
Notes for Charles Edgar Garinger: RN 620 - Charles Garinger farmed L4 C3 B3 in Binbrook Township. He and his wife Selina Johnson lived their entire married lives on this farm. They were active members of many organizations. Charles was a staunch worker for the Temperance Society. He spent many years on the local school board, travelling many miles with horse and buggy in company with other trustees, to interview a prospective teacher. They were members of Binbrook Baptist Church and are buried in the adjoining cemetery. (Binbrook History Book)
