The Perth Scuba Crew headed up to the Key Biscayne out of Lancelin and enjoyed two gorgeous dives on the jack up oil rig wreck at 40 metres. There were no crays caught, but plenty of narcosis at depth!!! The conditions were better than perfect and after seeing the photos (thanks Patto!) the rest of us decided we’re heading up for another trip soon! MORE DETAILS NEXT WEEK

Sunday 18th April 2010 Calling all Divers and Water Enthusiasts!!! Human activity is costing the earth. Despite the ocean's vast expanse our actions are taking a toll on aquatic ecosystems. But you can celebrate Earth Day's Project AWARE is 40th Anniversary and take action at Perth Scuba’s Dive for Earth Day 2010. Last year we cleaned up celebrating the International Year of the Point Walter foreshore and underwater world, now we’re heading to the BHP Jetty to clean up the Biodiversity with a foreshore and under the jetty. Everyone is welcome to this Dive for Earth Day, so bring the family year-long art contest along and we’ll clean up the BHP Jetty, Naval Base, followed by a BBQ lunch and drinks for all our themed ‘Threatened hard working volunteers.
