Gonzaga finished 1-2 in the 20th annual EA Sports Maui Invitational. The Bulldogs defeated Utah 71-52, lost to 19th-ranked Indiana 76-75 and fell to 15th-ranked Kentucky BULLDOGS 80-72 in the third-place game. POLL Sophomore was the lone Bulldog named to the EA Sports Maui Invitational all- HISTORY tournament game. He scored 60 points in three games for 20.0 ppg, grabbed 22 rebounds for 7.3 rpg and had six blocked shots. He went 39-for-44 from the free throw line for 88.6 Associated Press percent. He was joined on the all-tourney team by MVP Bracey Wright and Jeff Newton of DATE RANK champion Indiana; Keith Bogans of Kentucky, and Travis Watson of runner-up Virginia. 11/25/02 20 Ronny Turiaf tied a school record when he made 16 free throws against Indiana. That 11/18/02 21 11/11/02 22 tied the mark achieved by Frank Burgess on four occasions.
