The Professional Women Photographers (PWP) December 2017 exhibition of their members work is entitled The Power of Tones. All of the work in this show are LATE ENTRIES LATE monotone images (including black-and- white images, sepia-toned photos, cyan- otypes, etc.). At least two Park West Camera Club members were accepted into this 12-day show—Rain Bengis and Helen Pine. The exhibit takes place at the Jadite Galleries, 413 West 50th Street, just west of 9th Avenue. The gallery is open Tues- days through Saturdays, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. The opening reception will be held on Thursday evening, December 7th, from 6 p.m. till whenever. Rain’s photo has been chosen as the cover image for this PWP exhibit’s book.

India: Outside of Time

The Umbrella Arts Gallery, located at 317 East 9th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues is hosting an exhibit entitled India: Outside of Time. Two Park West Camera Club members are in this show—Karen Corrigan and Marjorie Gurd. This exhibit was curat- ed by Harvey Stein The show opens with the artists’ reception on Wednesday, December 6th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit runs through January 20th.
