But contemplating that very notion caused us to wonder just who the music superstars have been through the first six months of the 2008 chart year and which songs have been the biggest hits thus far. And, as long as we were adding up Mediabase’s qualitative airplay points for all the songs and artists from 2008, we figured we might as well take the next step to figure out which labels are dominating the year.
