Playoff Notes: • Play was suspended due to darkness after the sixth playoff hole on Sunday and resumed at 8 a.m. MST. on Monday. Broadhurst and Sutherland parred all six playoff holes on Sunday (17-18-17-18-17-18). • On Monday, both players made par on the seventh playoff hole (No. 17) and birdies on the eighth playoff hole (No. 18) before Kevin Sutherland claimed the victory with a birdie on the ninth extra hole (No. 17). • The last time a sudden-death playoff needed to be completed on Monday was at the 2019 . Kevin Sutherland, 65-64-69 – 198 (-15) • Leading by five at the start of the final round, Sutherland was 1-over after nine holes Sunday and was tied with Broadhurst at 12-under. With Broadhurst in the clubhouse at 15-under, Sutherland made a 25-foot birdie putt on the 54th hole to force the playoff. • The Sacramento, Calif. native is now a two-time winner of the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Most recently, he closed with an 8-under 63 to win the 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. • Broadhurst moved up 12 places to No. 17 on the Charles Schwab Cup standings and finishes the 2020 season with $612,436 in earnings. • A native of , Broadhurst owns five titles, including a pair of major championships (2016 presented by Rolex, 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship), three runner-up finishes and 21 finishes in the top 10 in five years on PGA TOUR Champions. • Broadhurst is a six-time winner on the European Tour and was a member of the 1991 European team.
