Coaching Staff Changes: This summer, VMI made a pair of coaching staff changes, adding one coach and promoting another. Longtime VMI assistant Jason Allison was promoted to Associate Coach - Recruiting Coordinator, and Ryan Mattocks was hired as the team’s newest assistant. Mattocks' (Duke ‘11) primary duties include assisting the staff with practice and game prepa- ration, scouting, recruiting, and player development. Mattocks also coordinates team travel and oversees study hall during the academic year. Allison begins his eighth season on Baucom's VMI staff and has spearheaded the Keydet basketball recruiting efforts over that time.
