Georgia Southern University faces its first opponent in the NCAA playoffs on Saturday versus . ODU is a program that is shaping up to resemble GSU in the 1980s. After being without a football program for 69 years, head coach Bobby Wilder has -guided the Monarchs to an impressive 27-7 record in three years, including 10-2 so far this season. This is their first year in the postseason, and they started their playoff history with a 35-18 win over Norfolk State University. GSU should be feeling refreshed after their first bye week since week three of the regular season.
