2 LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome to the 10th season of the Girls ECNL!

The 2018-19 season will be the best year of competition in the Girls ECNL since our founding in 2009, with the highest quality of play, most exciting playoff races, and more opportunities for coach, player and club development than ever before.

This season, the Girls ECNL will see 94 teams competing in each of six different age groups, from U13 to U18/19. Nearly 12,000 of the nation’s top female players will face off in conference competition, at six different regular season ECNL National Events, and ultimately at the ECNL Playoffs and Final Four to determine the top youth female soccer team in the United States. With more than 4,000 ECNL alums continuing to show their quality in college soccer this season, the impact of the ECNL player has never been more evident in the American game.

Beyond the incredible team competition in the league, including the country’s biggest collegiate showcases, the best players in the ECNL will be matched up against each other in conference based ECNL Training Centers and at the ECNL National Training Camp, where in 2018 the best of the league trained with and against the pros of Paris St. Germain and Manchester City.

The ECNL is a league that belongs to clubs and players. It is a league created by coaches to serve the needs of the aspiring American female player. ECNL alums are stars with the US Women’s National Team, are leading teams throughout the NWSL, and are dominating collegiate soccer at all levels. The next generation is playing in the ECNL today. Good luck to everyone as they begin another journey in the best development platform for female youth soccer players in the world.

Christian Lavers ECNL President
