Post-Game Notes & Quotes POST-GAME NOTES & QUOTES Los Angeles Kings (5-9-1) vs. Minnesota Wild (9-4-2) – Nov. 8, 2018 Kings 1-0-0=1 Wild 1-1-1=3 KINGS HEAD COACH WILLIE DESJARDINS: (RE: TEAMS EFFORT): “I think they are a pretty good team. I know the last time we played them, we did not get much in their net. They have a stingy defense. Saying that, I think we definitely passed up some chances to shoot. There were some shots there, if we put it to the net, maybe we could have gotten some traffic and some rebounds, but we had our chances to win tonight and did not capitalize on our power plays.” KINGS FORWARD TYLER TOFFOLI: (RE: TEAMS PROGRESS): “I think we had some good opportunities and obviously we came up short which is definitely frustrating, but I mean we definitely did some good things out there and just need to find a way to score.” KINGS FORWARD ANZE KOPITAR: (RE: OFFENSE): “I don’t think we played enough obviously in their zone. Maybe they came out a little slower in the first period and then played better as the game progressed. I thought we played a decent game, but we need to capitalize on the chances and these special teams are always a part of winning games and we lost that battle tonight.” WILD HEAD COACH BRUCE BOUDREAU: (RE: TONIGHT’S PERFORMANCE): “I thought the last 50 minutes were really good. I thought the first ten minutes we were scrambling, letting them play and we were watching them. The last 50 minutes were really good; we weren’t as lively, but once we got the goal, then all of a sudden, everything picked up for us. The Los Angeles Kings play really hard. I’ve played them as much as anybody here. They were playing hard again tonight, but I thought we weathered a few storms and played well ourselves. WILD FORWARD ZACH PARISE: (RE: NINO NIEDERREITER’S FIRST GOAL OF THE SEASON): “It was great. We were all happy for him. The team, the bench—we’ve all been there. Every scorer has been there; it’s a tough time. I’m happy for him that he got it over with and he can move on. I thought he played a good game outside of the goal. We were getting some chances so hopefully he’ll keep that going.” WILD GOALTENDER DEVAN DUBNYK: (RE: TONIGHT’S PERFORMANCE): “I think we started pretty good. I didn’t help us any by letting in that shot and that was kind of when they [the Los Angeles Kings] started to come. I’d like to keep those ones out so after that, it’s important for me to work and make sure we keep it there. They get a power play and reward me with a big goal.” KINGS NOTES: • Jake Muzzin (1-0=1) tallied his first goal of the season. • Alec Martinez (0-1=1) registered his fifth assist of the year and has assists in each of the last two games (0-3=3). • The attendance for tonight’s Kings-Wild game is 17,621. Tonight’s game ends the club’s franchise-record sellout streak of 297 consecutive games (including the playoffs) at STAPLES Center. The Kings appreciate the incredible fan support we received during this time in particular, and on the whole. KINGS PRACTICE SCHEDULE TOMORROW (Subject to change): The Kings are scheduled to practice tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo. -- LAKINGS.COM – Follow the Kings Communications Department on Twitter @LAKingsPR Postgame Quotes compiled by Daina Rama, Daniel Gligich, Olivia Osborne and Lauren Paneyko. .

CAROLINA HURRICANES NEWS CLIPPINGS • June 8, 2021 A Nino Niederreiter sighting. Here’s when the injured Canes forward might return By Luke DeCock That was a focus in Monday’s practice, especially adjusting to Tampa’s more aggressive short-handed approach. The first power-play unit remained the same in practice Monday — Sebastian Aho, Jordan Staal, Teuvo Teravainen, Vincent Trocheck (leg) and Warren Foegele (shoulder) both Necas and Hamilton — but Morgan Geekie and Niederreiter skated before Monday’s practice, the team said. Trocheck both worked with the second unit, replacing Foegele and was injured in Game 2 and did not play in either game in Brett Pesce. Tampa; Foegele was injured in Game 3 and played but was ineffective in Game 4. Brind’Amour said both of them Resting up remained game-time decisions but he was more optimistic about Niederreiter.
