Local Engagement Forums Community Project Grants Application Form Swale Borough Council has allocated £100,000 across the three Local Engagement Forums (LEFs) in Swale. The LEFs cover the areas of , Isle of Sheppey and .

The fund is to support small scale local community projects such as those that bring cultural, sport- ing, recreational, health, environmental, heritage, community safety, crime reduction or educational benefi ts to the local community. Grants cannot be used to support items which should be funded by mainstream public expenditure. Grants cannot be issued to individuals.

Each of Swale Borough Council’s 47 Councillors has been given an indicative allocation of £2,000 to support local community projects. Councillors are able to ‘pool’ their indicative allocations to support a particular project or projects.
