Passion for the Olympics Tony has competed in three previous Olympic Games as a member of the U.S. team. Tony has said that the reason he plays water polo is to win a gold medal for the United States.

Personal Tony’s father, Rick Azevedo, is the former Men’s National Team coach and introduced Tony to the sport. His sister Cassie was a standout player at Cal State Long Beach and now plays professional water polo in Italy. His father's name is Ricardo, today his father is the head coach of the Chinese National Water Polo Team.
