While I am writing this the felt temperature is around -15 degrees Celsius and the first natural ice marathon of 2018 is taking place. All that while the first springtime classics in Belgium are already finished.

For instance, this year we welcome back a promise team after a long time, from the district South West Netherlands. Six young riders from the area who are well known with the setting. A great stage to measure up their skills against the best young riders of the world.
The route has changed as well this year. On request of Kia Auto Vermeulen we will for the first time in years, take on the LAAGEWEI 1 GOES O113 24 43 1O Zeelandbrug, Oosterschelde Storm surge barrier, Walcheren and the Zak van Zuid Beveland in one go. The finale will take WWW.VUYK-ACCOUNTANTS.NL place as 2 local rounds around Goes. As is tradition.
Not just the route has changed. We had to review the security of the route this year. Changes to national law forced us to adapt our excellent use of motorcyclists from ZVVR and MBTZ to national standards. Licht - Geluid - Video - Podia The most exceptional of this years edition is that ZLM will have www.hofmanproductions.com it’s last year as main sponsor. ZLM has been main sponsor for 21years and we are extremely grateful for the years we worked together. ZLM wasn’t just there for financial support. On April 14th we will once again have a fantastic day. Starting 11.30 am the riders of TMZ start their competitions on the local parkour around the Oranjeweg. After this the two local rounds and finish of ZLM tour. Around 16.45 pm we will know who will follow in the footsteps of Christopher Lawless who, only a few months after his victory of last years ZLM tour signed a professional contract with Team Sky.
