ART IN CITY HALL features the exhibitions of local in various buildings in the Civic Center Complex. A new exhibition is featured approximately every two months and generally includes the work of two to three artists. The public is invited to view the collection during regular business hours. HISTORICAL PLAQUES mark various sites in the community that are of historic interest such as the Sylvan Cemetery and Rusch Home. These are proud and charming chronicles of a rural lifestyle from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s. For plaque locations and a self-guided tour manual, please visit www.citrusheights.net.

P U B L I C A R T promotes the arts and beautifies the city. Citrus Heights currently houses two pieces of including the , “Celebrate Citrus Heights,” by Philip Sciortino located in front of the Community Center on Fountain Square Drive and, “Up and Away,” by Colin Lambert, located on Greenback Lane between Parkoaks Drive and Van Maren Lane.
