Pray the Rosary

October is known as the month of the Rosary. October 7 is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. The Rosary is prayed before 5:15 p.m. Mass each Saturday. Beginning in October, we will also pray the Rosary before the 9:30 a.m. Mass. If anyone would like to lead the Rosary before 9:30 a.m. Mass, please call or email Lisa in the parish office by Sept. 27. There will be a rotat- ing schedule for the leaders; you won’t lead every week.

How to Pray the Rosary

Have you forgotten how to pray the Rosary? Perhaps you never learned how to pray the Rosary. Would you like to learn how to pray the Rosary on a deeper level? On the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Monday, October 7, at 6:30 p.m. in church, Deacon David Thompson will share a short history of the Rosary, why we pray the Rosary, and how to pray the Rosary. Then, we will pray the Rosary together. Come and learn more about Our Lady and her requests that we pray the Rosary.
