Greater Noida is strategically located close Development Authority (UPEIDA) to four important industrial hubs: Noida ,Ghaziabad , Faridabad (35 kms away) and Meerut (75 kms). This region boasts of the single largest direct investment by transnational companies. UPEIDA has been set up by the state government under UP Industrial Area Development Act 1976.It is engaged in the development of Green Field Expressway Infrastructure Projects on PPP mode. lGreater Noida city is located at the intersection of the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors. It is also the gateway to theDelhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). lImportant expressways originate from this city, namely the Yamuna Expressway from Greater Noida to Agra Agra to Lucknow Access Controlled lAn eight-lane, 25 km-long expressway connects Greater Noida directly to Delhi lGreater Noida is the only city in North India with privatized power distribution, which ensures efficient power supply. Expressway Project lEastern Peripheral Expressway, under development, will take off at Kundli and will join NH2 at Faridabad via Ghaziabad and Greater Noida.
