ENTERING CROATIA FROM EU/EEA MEMBER STATES AND WHICH CURRENTLY ARE NOT ON THE SO-CALLED GREEN LIST OF THE EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR DISEASE PREVENTION AND CONTROL AND - regardless of citizenship AND ENTERING CROATIA FROM NON EU STATES- for EU citizens  Provide negative PCR or rapid antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 listed on the Joint List of Rapid Antigen Tests Recognized by the Member States of the European Union, published by the European Commission, if the test result is not older than 48 hours from the time of testing to arrival at the border crossing. In the case of a rapid antigen test and a stay of more than 10 days in the Republic of Croatia, the test must be performed again by the tenth day from the date of issuance of that test. • Provide vaccination certificates for persons who received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days ago or vaccination with single dose, in the case of a single dose vaccine • Provide positive PCR or rapid antigen test, confirming that the person has recovered from SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, which test was performed 180 days ago, and is older than 11 days from the date of arrival at the border crossing or with presentation certificates of illness COVID-19, issued by a doctor • determination of self-isolation upon arrival in the Republic of Croatia with the possibility of PCR or rapid antigen testing for SARS-CoV-2, and in case of impossibility of testing self-isolation lasts 10 days *Exceptionally, the PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 is not obligatory for the following categories of passengers:

 workers or self-employed persons performing essential tasks, including healthcare workers, frontier and posted workers and seasonal workers as specified in the Guidelines concerning the exercise of the free movement of workers during COVID-19 outbreak, provided they do not stay in the Republic of Croatia or outside the Republic of Croatia for longer than 12 hours; athletes playing for clubs in a neighbouring country pupils, students and interns who travel abroad every day, provided that they do not stay in the Republic of Croatia or outside the Republic of Croatia for longer than 12 hours; seafarers and workers in the transport sector or transport service providers, including heavy goods vehicle drivers transporting goods to be used in the national territory and those who only transit; diplomats, staff of international organizations and persons invited by international organizations whose physical presence is necessary for the functioning of those organizations, military personnel and police officers, as well as humanitarian and civil protection personnel in the performance of their duties; persons traveling for necessary family or business reasons, including journalists in the performance of their duties; passengers in transit with the obligation to leave the Republic of Croatia within 12 hours from entry; patients traveling for urgent health reasons, children under the age of seven who are accompanied by a parent / guardian who has a negative PCR or rapid antigen test, or a certificate of vaccination or they overcame SARS-CoV-2

 When entering the Republic of Croatia, they must show a negative PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 or present credible documentation for the purpose of proving the grounds for their exemption from the obligation to possess the said test result/exemption from self-isolating.

NON EU CITIZENS ENTERING FROM NON EU STATES – Third-country nationals not covered by the abovementioned points

No PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 or the obligation of self-isolation for: health professionals, health researchers and care workers for the elderly, border workers, staff in the transport sector, diplomats, staff of international organizations and persons coming with the call nternational organizations and whose physical presence is necessary for the proper functioning of those organizations, military and police personnel, humanitarian workers and civil protection personnel in the performance of their duties, passengers in transit, with the obligation to leave the Republic Croatia within 12 hours, persons traveling for education, seafarers, persons who have applied for residence and work, including digital nomads, provided that the competent authority has made a positive decision based on their request, children under the age of seven traveling accompanied by parents / guardians who have a negative PCR or rapid antigen test, or a certificate of vaccination or they overcame SARS- CoV-2 When entering the Republic of Croatia, they must show a negative PCR test result for SARS- CoV-2 or present credible documentation for the purpose of proving the grounds for their exemption from the obligation to possess the said test result/exemption from self-isolating.

Persons who have recovered from COVID-19 within the past three months are exempt from the obligation to provide a negative PCR test result and to self-isolate (for 10 days). In order to prove their recovery, passengers need to have a positive PCR test result or antigen test result, or a positive neutralisation test (NT) result obtained within the last three months and older than 14 days, or a certificate of recovery issued by a doctor.
