The Maryland men’s soccer team plays in front of one of the finest atmopheres in college soccer at storied Ludwig Field. The Terps routinely rank among the top-5 in the nation in attendance and led the country with a school record 52,189 patrons entering Ludwig in 2016.

Heading into the 2018 campaign, over 600,000 fans have filled the stands to take in exciting Terrapin soccer action since the facility opened in 1995. Maryland ranked second in attendance in 2017.

The Terps set a Ludwig Field record in 2015 when 8,449 fans watched Maryland defeat UCLA in overtime on a perfect College Park night. Maryland’s notorious student fan group, The Crew, has established itself as the best college soccer fan section in the country.
