Art; usually understood to be about drawing and painting but here we strive to challenge the conventional.

We build our artwork that industry partners engage with; closing the gap between technical and creative subjects and developing employability skills. It is ever expanding into our specialised subjects and whole school ethos.

At KS4, the students design and create 3D products such as lamps and speakers in addition to coding their own website. Enrichment offers them wider skill development such as in photography where they get the chance to organise an exhibition at our annual UTC has Talent Christmas event.

KS5 students further enhance their skills at A-level by creating architectural buildings with the laser cutter and 3D printer. Engineering students can manipulate metal to create practical products. Computing students produce animation sketches and gaming designs.
