Course The student will select her/his courses during the first two weeks Selection/Procedure at Sciences Po Lille.

Certificat d’Etudes The IEP proposes to its international students who have a good Politiques level in French to prepare a specific degree (Diplôme Universitaire): le Certificat d’Etudes Politiques (CEP) (= the Certificate of Political Studies).

In order to obtain the CEP, students have to attend specific classes : 2 fundamental courses - Vie politique française (24 hours) = 5 ECTS (1st semestre), - Institutions politiques comparées (24 hours) = 5 ECTS (2nd semestre). 2 “conférences de méthode” (during the entire academic year) to be chosen between: - Sociologie Politique (36 hours) = 8 ECTS, - Problèmes Internationaux Contemporains (36 hours) = 8 ECTS, - La France et l’Europe en tendance (36 hours) = 8 ECTS. - Construire l’action publique. Actions publiques comparées (36 hours) = 8 ECTS

Please note that attendance at these “conférences de méthodes” is obligatory. A minimum of 5 courses to be chosen within the list of courses available to international students. A “grand Oral”: an oral exam testing the general knowledge of the students and their capacity to structure what they have learned = 5 ECTS. Course Load per All depends on the needs of the students. Please note that most of semester the courses are worth 5 ECTS (24 hours) or 4 ECTS (18 hours).

Language of The great majority of courses are taught in French language. Instruction A maximum of 10 courses are taught in English over one semester. We also offer 4-5 courses in Spanish and German.

Campus Facilities and Our Institute is not located on a campus so we cannot provide accommodation accommodation for students. But Lille is a great metropolis which offers many facilities and lodging for students.
