INSPIRING EXCELLENCE
When UH President Renu Khator arrived in January 2008, she identified the arts as one of the strategic initiatives to attain top-tier status. Today the university is a designated Tier One research university and UH Arts continues to expand. Our growth as a campus reflects the deep connection between art and science. Both require creative problem-solving, intense focus and enthusiasm for fresh ideas. UH Arts ignites the imagination and advances the talents and skills that shape contemporary culture.
