Mountain Rythym Hand Crafted Percussion Instruments

Mountain Rythym build with both the beginner and professional in mind. After all, whether you are new to drumming or an old pro, you deserve to own a that is easy to tune and a pleasure to play.

When you befriend a Mountain Rythym drum you are buying the best of the best and here’s why. All Mountain Rythym drums are made from highest quality kiln-dried wood and the shells are then sealed with a two-stage fi nish. This extra care prevents any future cracking which can occur due to changes in climate and humidity. Each shell is hand-lathed and has a perfect bearing edge. The bearing edge is very important because it aff ects the sound of the drum and the happiness of your hands. We pay special attention to each rim so that your drum not only sounds great but is also very comfortable to play.

Simple Twist Tuning System

Mountain Rythym’s patented “Simple Twist” tuning system not only makes it easier to keep you drum tuned, but also allows you to loosen the tension on the head when the drum is not in use - prolonging the life of the head.

There is no longer a need to battle with the complicated Mali wave, and spend hours replacing heads. With Mountain Rythym’s “Simple Twist” tuning system it is only necessary to remove one knot to change a drumhead.

This simple design has revolutionised the tuning, maintenance and sound of percussion instruments. After all wouldn’t you rather be playing than tuning?
