Footwear : Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.

Clothing : Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.

Other equipment: Sleeping bag (5 seasons), lock, day pack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare batteries, lip salve, gaiters.

Other items: Insect repellent, toilet articles, diary, toilet roll, laundry soap, wet ones, pocket knife, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, memory cards, batteries, charger and personal medical kit.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After your refreshment, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby and driven to our Thamel office where you will be formally introduced to your trekking guide. We will go through all your trek itinerary and arrangements with you to ensure every detail is in place. We will also ask to bring your passport, extra passport photographs and a copy of your travel insurance so that we can organize permits required for your trek in the Annapurna region.

Day 2: Pre-trek Sightseeing Day in Kathmandu and Final Trek Preparations

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast check-out at the hotel and drive to Swoyambhunath; world heritage site nestled on the top of the hill. Swoyambhunath famed as a monkey temple is constructed on stupa style. We spent almost 1 hour at the top of the hill where Swoyambhu temple is located that offers the breathtaking vision of the complete Kathmandu valley then descend from temple stepping on 365 stone steps.

Then drive you to another World heritage site Kathmandu durbar square named Basantpur durbar square; a hub of culture, tradition, religion is a historical site that embraces palaces and courtyards of old Malla and Shah Kings dates back from 14 to 15 centuries onwards. And we will have our lunch at the restaurant nestled at the premises of the durbar square.

After spending almost 1 and half hour drive for almost 1 hour to reach another world heritage site Pashupatinath nestled at the bank of the sacred . Pashupatinath; dedicated to Shiva is golden colored two-storey pagoda temple along with silver-plated doors and wood carving is on the bank of the Bagmati river.

Then finally drive to another destination Boudhanath famed as little Tibet taking almost 35 minutes. The biggest stupa of Nepal built during the fourteenth century is the hub for meditation and pilgrimage sites for Buddhists and other visitors also.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Dharapani from Kathmandu. (8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Dharapani from Kathmandu crossing which is the first destination of Annapurna circuit trek. Kathmandu to Dharapani distance is approximately 230 km and it is around 8-9 hours’ drive including the bumpy and good road.

Day 4: Dharapani to Chame, overnight in the trekking lodge. (5hrs)

After breakfast, we trek through rhododendron and pine forests and pass villages Bagarchhap and Danque to reach Chame for the overnight. During the 5 hours trek, we experience Buddhist culture and enjoy the excellent views of Mount gaining about 700 meters in height. Now we get to see wonderful mountains such as the Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV (7,525m).

Day 5: Chame to , overnight in trekking lodge

After breakfast, we leave Chame crossing the suspension bridge and taking a gradual uphill trail leading to village Talekhu. Then we will trek on the flat trail till we reach Brathang. And we walk through pine and fir forests to reach Pisang for the overnight. During the 5-6 hours trek, we gain 450 meters altitude.

Day 6: Pisang to Manang, overnight in trekking lodge (3,540m) 6-7 hrs

The initial part of the trek will be on the ascending trail for 1 hour till we reach Geru then follow the flat trail to reach Manang for the overnight. During 6-7 hours trek, we thrill at the spectacular vision of the Mt. Annapurna, Pisang peak and also explore Barge monastery gaining 200 meters altitude.

Day 7: We enjoy a rest day and explore Manang and its local environment. Overnight in trekking lodge (3,540m)Continue higher up the valley from Pisang to Manang

Today we let the heart, lungs, and muscles recover and give our boots a quick clean too. Each day we have been gaining altitude, but we must do this in carefully measured stages to ensure proper acclimatization for the higher altitudes and high passes ahead. So today we just do some short walks to explore the region around Manang. Options include a visit to the Buddhist Bhojo Gompa or a short walk across the valley floor to Gangapurna Lake which sits at the foot of a steep valley cut into the southern valley wall. But most importantly today we must continue to acclimatize for the challenging days ahead.

Day 8: : Manang to Shree Chowr, overnight in trekking lodge. (3900 m)

After breakfast, we take offbeat route leaving the main route of the Annapurna circuit to reach Shree chowr for the overnight. During the 5-6 hours, we follow a gradual uphill trail to reach Shree chowr. Overnight in the Shree Chowr.

Day 9: Shree Chowr to Tilicho Base Camp, overnight in trekking lodge.

After breakfast, we trek on the ascending trail to reach the base camp of the world's highest altitude lake Tilicho. We take 2 hours to reach the Tilicho base camp located at the height of 4150 meters, for the overnight.

Day 10: Ascend to Tilicho Lake (4919 m.) and return to Tilicho base camp for the overnight.

Ascend the steep trail leading to the Tilicho Lake; world highest altitude lake, then enjoy the scenic beauty of the glaciated lake encircled by the spectacular snowy peaks along with the amazing reflections then descend to Tilicho base camp for the overnight.

Day 11: Tilicho Base Camp to Shree Chowr, for the overnight in trekking lodge.

After breakfast, we trek to Shree chowr retracing the trail from Tilicho base camp for the overnight.

Day 12: Shree Chowr to Yak Kharka, overnight in the trekking lodge. (4045m.)

3 Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition

After breakfast, we trek to Yak Kharka from the Shree Chowr taking almost 4-5 hours.

Day 13: Ascend from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi. , overnight in trekking lodge (4,450m)

We trek on an uphill trail to reach Thorong la Phedi passing another village Ledtar. During the 3-4 hours trek, we will be rewarded with excellent views of the Mt. Gundang. Mt. Syange, Thorong peak gaining 300 meters altitude.

Day 14: Thorong Phedi (4450m) to Muktinath (3810m) crossing the Thorong La Pass (5416m). Overnight in trekking lodge.

Today we cross the highest pass of the Annapurna circuit trek which Thorong la pass at the height of 5416 meters. After taking snaps on the signature pose at Thorong la we descend to Muktinath for the overnight.

Day 15: Trek to from Muktinath and flight to . Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning explore Muktinath temple soaking on the religious vibe and feeling the cool breeze of the Mustang region and have breakfast and trek to Jomsom for 5-6 hours for the overnight.

Day 16: Pokhara- Kathmandu drive

Drive to Kathmandu from the Pokhara taking almost 6 hours.

Day 17: International Departure

We will meet you at your hotel and take you to the airport in plenty of time to meet your flight home.
