Conference Scope

The ICC-2018 aims to capitalize on the rapidly growing field of chemistry and advanced materials, bringing together the expertise from across the international and national academic communities, as well as industry. The remarkable evolution of advanced materials has only been possible because of close collaborations between chemists, materials and biological scientists as well as industrialists. This conference aims to bring together such diverse specialists, and to understand the requirements of chemistry and advanced materials research for sustainable development in an emerging country like Nepal. This conference covers a series of symposia, which have been selected to accommodate a wide range of interests. The purpose of this meeting is to facilitate interdisciplinary interactions between scientists engaged in the full spectrum of research, development, and applications, and to discuss the current status and recent developments of advanced materials and technology for the improvement of human lives. In addition, the conference will provide foreign scientists an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty and biodiversity of Nepal. We welcome you to visit Nepal.

Conference Symposia The conference will cover the following topics but not limited to: Symposium A: Chemistry of Advanced Materials, Bio-materials and Nanotechnology Symposium B: Polymers, Colloids, Soft Materials, Natural Products and Drug Discovery Symposium C: Electrochemistry, Corrosion Science, and Materials for Energy and Fuels Symposium D: Microfluidics, Separation and extraction Sciences, Biological Chemistry Symposium E: Chemistry for Environment Protection, Theoretical chemistry & Interdisciplinary Sciences Symposium F: Special session for young scientists

Young Scientist Award

Awards for young scientists (three for young researcher, and another for post-doc scholar) will be given to the best presenter with outstanding research activities and achievements. Those who are interested in this award are invited to submit the abstracts in the symposium F.
