2. Chair´s announcements
The Coordinators: heard the Chair reporting on the arrangements for the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus Programme, and decided
o to entrust the Chair with the coordination of the ongoing preparations on behalf of CULT, and to
o have an oral question with resolution on the future of Erasmus later in 2017 in order to have an additional opportunity to raise awareness of the Programme following the formal anniversary ceremony on 13 June.
heard the Chair informing about the intention of the LIBE Committee to prepare a resolution on the general situation in Hungary suggesting that CULT Members table AMs to this resolution with regard to the future of the Central European University;
heard the Chair reporting on the recent exchange of views with the CEO of Euronews, which failed to address all of the Committee’s concerns, and agreed that further action should be envisaged on this matter.
3. Structured Dialogue: CULT contribution to Summary Report 2017
Decision:
The Coordinators approved the final draft of the CULT contribution to the Summary Report 2017, with a minor addition agreed on point 6 concerning a reference to regions affected by natural disasters.

4. Brexit: Nomination of CULT Standing Rapporteur
Decisions:
The Coordinators decided to appoint the following Members to the Monitoring Group on Brexit:
o Sabine VERHEYEN (EPP) (potentially to be replaced by Bogdan Andrzej ZDROJEWSKI (EPP))
o Silvia COSTA (S&D)
o Angel DZHAMBAZKI (ECR)

The Coordinators decided to postpone the final decision on the appointment of a Standing Rapporteur until the next CULT Coordinators’ meeting.
5. Any other business
The Coordinators heard the Chair outlining that the EPP proposal for an own- initiative report on “Minority languages and education” cannot be taken into consideration at this stage, given the lack of available slots for INI reports, which are limited to three in the second half of the legislature.
