The GreenMachine from FLEVOBIKE Technology has a completely enclosed drive chain so chain wear is no longer an issue. Since August 2012 there is an option to attach an electric assistance unit. The motor is placed in a low centre of gravity position and drives the Rohloff Speedhub gears. The energy source is a LiFePo4 battery which can be recharged 2000 times. The assistance is given directly into the Speedhub and the close proximity between energy source and gears means it is very efficient in terms of energy usage. The weight of the unit (motor + battery) is only 6 KG - the lights of the bike remain separate.

Flexible seatpost
The new CF3 Pro Carbon Flex seatpost provides a considerable increase in comfort on the road. In contrast to traditional suspension seatposts, the CF3 is extremely efficient, following the exact path of the forces of a shock. Through the flex of the carbon suspension beams (Canyon VCLS Technology) the seatpost dampens out poor road surfaces. The saddle itself is maintains its position thanks to the bearing equipped pivots on the seatpost head. These same pivot points allow simple and quick setting of the set back of the saddle. The system is maintenance free, and at around 200g in weight, it is considerably lighter than other suspension seatposts on the market.
