A Guest Lecture on ‘Recent Trends in Instrumentation’ on 9th January 2020. Mr. Nathan Kannan, Vice President, Positive Naick Analytics, was the Resource Person.
The National Level Technical Symposium ‘ORKESTRIM- 20’ on 21st February 2020 outlining the theme of ‘Calibrating Ecosystem’.
A Guest Lecture on ‘Recent trends in Control Engineering’ on 11th March 2020.Mr. Satish Ramachandran, Co - Founder/CTO - Armored,was the Resource Person.
A Workshop on the ‘Emerging Trends in Industrial Automation’ on 13th March 2020. Mr. A. Parthiban, Team Lead-Business Development, Lema Labs, Incubated at IIT, Chennai , was the Resource Person.
The Dept. in association with the ISA VMEC Student Charter and ISTE, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmadabad and National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, DST, Govt. of India organized a three - day Entrepreneurship programme from 11th to 13th February 2020.
The Third Year U.G students (Section-2) visited Aavin Milk Processing Plant, Ambattur on 14th February 2020.

Karthikeyan.S (4th Year EIE), Daphne Josita Divya J Sai Kowtham K.R, Muthu priya.N, Sri ram kumar K, and Venkataraman S(3rd year EIE) Won First Prize in ROWING – Techfest held at IIT Bombay on 3-5.01.2020. Karthikeyan.S (4th Year EIE), Daphne Josita Divya J Sai Kowtham K.R, Muthu priya.N, Sri ram kumar K, and Venkataraman S(3rd year EIE) Won SECOND prize in Swimming – Techfest held at IIT Bombay on 3-5.01.2020. Karthikeyan.S (4th Year EIE), Daphne Josita Divya J Sai Kowtham K.R, Muthu priya.N, Sri ram kumar K, and Venkataraman S(3rd year EIE) participated in F1 car Racing and Tug of war – Techfest held at IIT Bombay on 3-5.01.2020.
Jerbin J & Chockalingam G (4th year EIE) participated in ISA’s INDIA Automation at Mukesh Patel School of Tech management & Engineering on 9,10.01.2020.
R.Krithiga (4th Year EIE) attended a workshop on Robot Course for college students on 8- 10.01.2020 at Fanc India, Bangalore. Jayasuriya. V (4th Year EIE) attended seminar on Make A Thon 2020 at Lema labs Technologies pvt ltd., Chennai on 12.01.2020.
