Pier House can be found on Google Maps. The post code (for SatNav) covers a large area and unfortunately does NOT locate your destination precisely.

From Glasgow Airport (84 miles / 135 Kilometre – By Car, approximately 1h 50min)

From the Airport follow signs to the M8 (West) Join M8 at Junction 29 – Signpost Greenock / Erskine Bridge / M8 (M898) Follow M8, then M898 to Erskine Bridge (A898) – 5 miles – Takes you over the River Clyde On North side of Bridge bear LEFT to join A82 Stay on the A82, Follow signs for Crianlarich to Lomondgate Roundabout – 5.5 miles – Beware of changes in speed limit 60/40mph through this section. At Lomondgate Roundabout carry straight ahead. Stay on A82 to Tarbet – 20 miles. approx. 25min. The A82 starts as a fast, sometimes dual carriageway road taking you past Balloch, Luss and Inverbeg on the side of Loch Lomand. There are scenic places to stop alongside Loch Lomand. At Tarbet Hotel turn RIGHT, stay on the A82, signpost Crianlarich / Fort William / Oban Stay on A82, with Loch Lomond on your Right. Follow A82 to Crianlarich. 17 miles. approx 25 min. Follow directions from Crianlarich below.

From Edinburgh Airport (110 miles / 177 Kilometre – By Car, approximately 2h 30min)

From the Airport follow signs for the M9 Join M9 as Junction 1 – Signpost Forth Road Bridge / Sterling / Linlithgow Leave M9 at Junction 10 – Signpost A84 (A85) Follow signs for Doune / Callander A84 – Crianlarich (A85) Stay on A84 – Callander Stay on A84, pass Loch Lubnaig Stay straight on A84, which turns into the A85 at Lochernhead. Stay on A85 from Lochernhead to Crianlairich – 17 miles 25 min

From Crianlairich – Heading North

Head North on A82 – Signpost Fort William A82 / Oban A85 At Tyndrum (Food stops here), Stay on A82 – Signpost Fort William A82 Stay on A82 through Bridge of Orchy – Welcome to the Highlands !!! Stay on A82 over Rannoch Moor – Fantastic scenery Stay on A82 pass Glencoe Ski Centre Road descends into Glencoe – Enjoy the scenery Stay on A82 to Glencoe Village. Stay on A82, pass petrol (gas) station on your LEFT Stay on A82, pass Glencoe Hotel on your LEFT Do not take right hand turn for Glencoe Village/ (B863) Stay on A82, pass “Crafts n Things” on your LEFT Pier House is 100 yards/meters past “Crafts n Things” If you reach Glencoe Boat Club, then unfortunately you have gone too far. U-turn.

Heading North; PIER HOUSE is the only residential property on the RIGHT, Shore side of Loch Leven. Turn RIGHT. Guest Parking on the gravel area immediately before Pier House. Welcome! We hope you had a safe and enjoyable journey! 

From Fort William – Heading South

Head South on the A82 – Signpost //Crianlarich/Glasgow (A82/A828) Pass Corran Ferry, Inchree & . Remain on A82 At Ballachulish Bridge, Cross Loch Leven. At roundabout, ignore left turn to Oban (A828). Stay on A82 – Crianlarich Do not take right hand turns for Ballachulish. Stay on A82 for Glencoe Village. Do not take right hand turn, minor road, “Tigh-phuirt”. Glencoe Boat Club is on your left – Loch Shore. Pier House is 100 yards/meters past Glencoe Boat Club on the LEFT. If you reach Glencoe Village, then unfortunately you have gone too far. U-turn.

Heading South; PIER HOUSE is the only residential property on the LEFT, Shore side of Loch Leven. Turn LEFT. Guest Parking on the gravel area immediately before Pier House. Welcome! We hope you had a safe and enjoyable journey! 

The first image is taken at the turning to “Crafts ‘n’ Things” approximately 100 yards/meters before reaching Pier House. Stay on the main A82.

Pass “Crafts ‘n’ Things” on your LEFT. Take the next RIGHT into our driveway for Pier House. We are the only residential property on the shore of Loch Leven heading North away from Glencoe village. If you reach Glencoe Boat Club, then you have gone too far!
