Buzzer Beater Competition BUZZER BEATER COMPETION RULES AND REGULATIONS
3 turning pole/position in the full court; 2 right side of each half court and 1 left side of the center court. The competition itself is time based, involving player to dribble the ball from starting position moving towards 1, 2 & 3 turning positions before making a shot. Clock starts with the referee’s whistle and ends upon making the shot. Player will hold the ball at the starting position and not allowed to throw the ball when whistle is blown. Double dribble and travelling is not allowed. Players are not allowed to grab/hold the pole. Each Teams shall have 2 players to play in the Buzzer Beater Competition. Top 3 players with the best time will move to final round. Player with the best time to complete the challenge wins the Buzzer Beater Competition. A referee/committee will be present to watch the shooters feet.

SHOOTING STARS COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS
Five shooting positions along the half court. The competition itself is time based, involving shooting from five (5) locations of increasing difficulty and SHOOTING STARS LAYOUT making all five shots in sequential order. Game starts by in-bounding the ball by co-player. Shot one (1) is a 6-ft bank shot from the right side, shot two (2) is a 15-ft free throw shot, shot three (3) is a 17- ft shot from the left side baseline , shot four (4) an 19-ft long shot right elbow, shot five (5) is an 20-ft 3 pt shot from the centre court. There is a no time limit for each attempt and Team with the best time to complete the 5-shots challenge wins the Shooting Star competition. Players can shoot alternately or consecutively on shot #5 location to complete the competition. Player 1, 2 or 3 can rebound and pass the ball to the shooting player to have the best time for their respective team. Each Team shall consist of 3 players. The top 3 Teams with best time will advance to the final round. Best time in the finals wins the competition. A referee/committee will be present to watch the shooters feet in the shooting position.
Please read NSE Rules & Regulation for further tournament details. BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2016 3-Pt Shootout Competition 3-PT SHOOTOUT COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS
Five shooting positions around the three point line; one at each corner, one at the top of the key and two on the elbow extended. Each position will shoot 3 balls. The first two balls of each shooting position will count as 1 point if made, with the final ball counting as 2 points (the “money ball”). The maximum score is 20 pts (10 regular shots – 1 pt , + 5 “money balls” – 2 pts ). 3-PT SHOOTOUT LAYOUT Shooters will have 40 seconds to make as many 3-pointers as possible. Only legally attempted shots, both feet behind the arc at the release of the ball, will count. Each shooter needs to have a 4 designated rebounder/passer (team mates) for the entirety of the shootout to rebound/pass for them. Each Team shall have 2 shooters to play on this 3-Pt Shootout. The top 3 shooters will advance to the final round. Top shooter with the highest points in the final round will win the 3-Pt Shootout Competition.
