Our Sunday worship services last about an hour. People will be wearing everything from shorts to suits so come in whatever is comfortable for you. During service, you will hear our worship band (in our modern service) and our choir (in our classic service) lead worship. You will experience moments of reflection and prayer, and you will be challenged with a message based on God’s word that applies to your life

TRADITIONS & CELEBRATIONS Bendición- most Puerto Rican children (and even adults) greet their parents & elders with “Bendicion” (English translation: blessing). It is a way for a child to request a blessing. The response from the adult is usually, “Dios te bendiga” (English translation: God bless you)

Parranda- A parranda (English translation: party) is a Puerto Rican music tradition that takes place in Puerto Rico during the holiday season. A parranda is when a small group of friends gathers together to "asaltar" or surprise another friend. It's the Puerto Rican version of Christmas caroling. Most parranderos play some sort of instrument, either guitarras, tamboriles, güiro maracas, or palitos. And they all sing. Take a look at this video, it’s a wonderful time of year!! https://youtu.be/8VPOrUhU52c

Quinceañera tradition is the coming of age of a young girl: 15th birthday. This event includes food, music, and in most, a choreographed dance by the Quinceañera and her Court (group of chosen friends that participate as the Court of Honor). The Quinceañera is both a religious and a social event that emphasizes the importance of family and society in the life of a young woman. It is celebrated in Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean, as well as in Latino communities.
