Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} X-Factor by Sean Michael Shawn Michaels. WWE Champion; World Heavyweight Champion; Intercontinental Champion; European Champion; World Tag Team Champion; Royal Rumble Match winner (1995 & 1996); Two-time WWE Hall of Fame Inductee (Class of 2011 & 2019) Shawn Michaels: Bio. Ask any Superstar on the WWE roster who the most gifted sports-entertainer of all time is and nearly everyone will have the same answer — Shawn Michaels. A cocky, confident heartbreaker from San Antonio, Texas, HBK started off his career as one half of The Rockers and ended it in a classic match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI. Along the way, he won every major WWE title, two Royal Rumbles, entry into the WWE Hall of Fame and a reputation as The Icon, The Showstopper, The Main Event. His days in the ring weren’t always glorious, though. After charming crowds as a Rocker in the ’90s, HBK infamously severed his partnership with Marty Jannetty by smashing his friend’s head through a window. And the notorious “Montreal Screwjob” of the 1997 Survivor Series involving his greatest rival, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, could have killed a lesser Superstar’s career. Instead, it only added to the allure of one of sports- entertainment’s most captivatingly flawed figures. A rebel in leather chaps, Michaels bucked authority and surrounded himself with people who did the same. As the troublemaker behind DX, HBK made life a living hell for the McMahon family alongside his longtime running buddy Triple H. As a member of The Kliq, he did the same for the WWE locker room, carefully wielding his considerable influence to get the best treatment for himself and friends like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. The self-proclaimed “Sexy Boy” could be an unrepentant primadonna, but he was so fluid and brilliant in the ring that it hardly mattered. His Ladder Match with Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X established his reputation for having the best bout on The Grandest Stage of Them All — a tradition he’d continue in classics against Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho and The Undertaker. HBK’s thrilling run was nearly brought to an early end when a back injury put him out for more than four years. In that time, he fell in love, had children and found religion. When he finally returned, Michaels displayed none of the flaws that plague many Superstars in their final years in the ring. Instead, The Icon continued to have career-defining matches right up until his last stand against The Phenom at WrestleMania XXVI. Although it was one of the final times WWE fans would hear the crack of Sweet Chin Music, audiences did not mourn HBK’s retirement. Instead, they celebrated it, grateful to have witnessed the evolution of Shawn Michaels from high-flying Rocker to WWE Hall of Famer. Lloyd Macey. Guys you're sailing through to the final' X Factor stars , Tamera Foster and Monica Michael look totally different years after appearing on the show. THEY shot to fame on The X Factor - but these stars are almost unrecognisable since disappearing from the spotlight. Despite Simon Cowell's ITV show instantly making them famous faces, you'd be forgiven if you failed to notice they'd passed you in the street these days. Stars including Luke Friend, Tamera Foster and Monica Michael look very different compared to how they did while performing for millions on TV. Here we take a look at how they've transformed their images - and what they've been up to see leaving the talent show. Kitty Brucknell, 2011. SHE was in the series won by Little Mix in 2011 and was famous for her wacky outfits. Kitty - who finished in seventh place under mentor Louis Walsh - recently ditched blonde hair for a pink. "I've been inspired by Japanese anime and that kind of look," she explained. "I dyed my hair pink and purple and people have started liking my pictures and now I'm modelling and been working with some big brands in the states. "Instagram didn't really take off until four years after I was on the show." Kitty is now living out in Los Angeles making her living as a model. Monica Michael, 2015. SHE was a finalist in the 2015 series, but shocked fans with her epic transformation after leaving the show. After gastric band surgery, Michael showed off her dramatic weight loss after shedding five stone. She told ITV's This Morning: “I was always battling with my weight, it’s always been a problem from primary school. It was a demon. “In 2015 I was on tour with and I could feel how unfit I was onstage, and how unhealthy. “I remember going off stage and going into my dressing room crying.” , 2008. SHE last appeared on The X Factor 13 years ago. Now she's said goodbye to the back-combed "bird nest" hairstyle in favour of a more sophisticated look. Diana, now 29, was spotted out last week looking super stylish with her natural hair flowing down her back and wearing a long faux-leather trench coat, white polo neck jumper, tweed trousers and large sunglasses. Diana, who competed against JLS and who won the series in 2008, teamed the look with red boots. Having sung from the age of 11, she auditioned for The X Factor singing The Blower's Daughter by and regularly performed barefoot during the live shows. Tamera Foster, 2013. THE teen finished in fifth place on series 10 of the ITV singing contest behind eventual winner . And after leaving the show she chose to overhaul her image, switching her dyed blonde, long hair for her more natural, black locks. Luke Friend, 2013. Luke finished third on the X Factor in 2013. He looks unrecognisable now after ditching his long locks in favour of an unusual hairstyle and moustache. , 2014. LAUREN finished 13th in the 2014 series of X Factor. The blond beauty has since dyed her hair peroxide blonde and chopped it off into a bob. Grace Davies, 2017. SHE moved to tears during her 2017 audition before making it all the way to the final. She lost out to winners Rak-Su and hasn't been seen much since. But Grace looks transformed in recent pics, showing she's grown out her hair and added blonde highlights. Molly Scott, 2018. SHE got booted off The X Factor over technical issues in 2018. Now Molly looks world's away from how she appeared on the show as a 16-year-old. She's got rid of her blonde hair and opted for a more natural look. Keeping some blonde to highlight her new brunette look, Molly has also grown her hair out - and she looks unrecognisable. Sean and Conor Price, 2017. THEY were bombarded with marriage proposals from young fans when they starred on the show in 2017. They were sent home in a shock double elimination, and these pictures show how much they've changed since. Losing their baby faces as Conor and Sean reach 19 and 21, respectively, the brothers continue in their efforts to sing for a living. They even released a single off their own backs after their X Factor journey came to an end. Gifty Louise, 2016. OUTSPOKEN Gifty Louise has told about her bad experiences while on the X Factor. So it's maybe no wonder she's decided to drastically change her image since being on the show in 2016. Growing out her short afro hair, Gifty now has blonde braids for her. new and more sophisticated look. 'We weren't really familiar with George Michael's music' - Sean and Conor Price swotting up on X Factor theme ahead of live show. At just 17 and 15 years old Irish X Factor hopefuls Sean and Conor Price are at a bit of a disadvantage with this weekend's theme. I t's George Michael week so the remaining acts will be performing their various takes on his music, but the brothers from Blessington were not familiar with the legendary late artist's work. Sean and Conor have had their style makeover ahead of the live shows. Facebook Twitter Email. "When we heard George Michael was the theme we got straight into listening to George Michael songs," Sean tells Independent.ie. "We weren't really familiar with George Michael's music." However, he reminds us that in their first audition they "took an old song and reinvented it to make it our own so hopefully we can do the same this week". Their first audition, which blew away judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh, and , as well as the viewers at home, saw them tackle Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix's classic, All Along the Watchtower. Since then they've smashed their way through each round, getting further than any Irish act in years, albeit with a bit of a speed wobble at bootcamp when nerves got the better of them. This weekend will be their third live show performance and the George Michael theme will arguably suit them better than last week's, Viva Latino. They sang Sia's Cheap Thrills, with some Spanish for good measure. "When we first heard it we were a bit surprised but then we went straight into it," says Sean. "We had a full week to prepare so we were just working really hard. "We weren't that nervous by the time the performance came around. We were just hoping to get the Spanish right! It was completely new for us. We both study German in school so we had no word of Spanish before this week!" Their mentor Simon Cowell is "back in business" after his fall at home which saw him miss the first live show and he Sean reveals he "loves hearing ideas" from the boys about how to approach each week. "Thankfully what surprised us this year was that Simon has actually let us more or less have free reign," he says. "He's letting us do what we do and he's not trying to change us at all. So it's really nice to have that from someone who is such a big person in the music industry. He's letting us take control." Read More. Each week they have Monday off after the show and then it's "practice, practice, practice". While the other contestants live in the X Factor mansion, Sean and Conor are staying with their parents John and Karen separately as Conor is just 15. Sean and Conor Price sing Sia's Cheap Thrills on The X Factor. Facebook Twitter Email. "It's a blessing in disguise," laughs Sean. "We have our peace and we get enough sleep every night which is actually really handy! Initially we thought we were going to miss out on the craic but we're in the house all day and then we just go back for our sleep so we're not really missing out at all." Nothing appears to faze the brothers and Sean admits they're "loving every second" and "not taking it for granted". Their enthusiasm for the show is infectious. Performing on the same stage as and this week is "mad" and something he says they never thought would happen. "We're massive fans of Harry Styles. He's come through X Factor and been in and one on to have his solo career so we really look up to Harry. We're big fans. He's brilliant," he gushes. Harry's fellow One Directioner tweeted about Sean and Conor this week, saying, "I like these little Irish lads but enough with the rapping". Sean sees the positive in it, "He said he likes these little Irish lads so I suppose we've got to take the positive - he says he likes us so we've got to !" Read More. Niall Horan responded to the tweet with, "Stop talking about me like that , I'll rap if I want . You know I can spit bars ." which greatly amused the lads. They're also chuffed with the support of rising Irish acting star Barry Keoghan, he of Love/Hate cat killer fame and the current star of The Killing of a Sacred Deer alongside Colin Farrell. He tweeted to his 23,000 followers to vote for Sean and Conor this weekend. They have also been receiving pictures of signs and posters supporting them at home in Blessington. "It feels like the whole country are backing us - it's unbelievable." However, with four acts leaving the competition this weekend, the pressure is mounting. "It's tough every week and you never know what the outcome is going to be," he says. "There's so much talent in the competition and [four acts going has] added a bit of pressure but all we can do is our best performance. It could be our last performance. It is really whittling down the competition."
