OUR 9-DAY/7-NIGHT , DRESDEN, ITINERARY : DAY 1 – ~BERLIN: Depart Boston aboard our transatlantic flight to Berlin (via intermediate city), with full meal and beverage service, as well as stereo headsets, while in flight. DAY 2 – BERLIN, : Upon arrival at the airport in Berlin, we will meet our Tour Escort, who will help us board our private motorcoach for transfer to our first class hotel, the H2 Hotel Berlin (or similar) for check in. The remainder of the day is at leisure to familiarize ourselves with our new surroundings. Dinner and overnight. Also see the Siegessaule ( ) with its bronze of the goddess of victory, and the famous Ku’Damm shopping area. Time for a picture stop at the Brandenburg Gate, and see the Holocaust Memorial. The rest of the day is free for your own activities. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant tonight, returning to the hotel for overnight. (B, D) DAY 4 – POTSDAM: After breakfast, we’ll drive to Potsdam and visit the beautiful Sanssouci Castle and also see Castle Cecilienhof, where Truman, Stalin, Churchill and Attlee decided the fate of Germany after World War II. Afterwards, return to Berlin for free time. Dinner is at the hotel. Overnight. (B, D) DAY 5 – BERLIN: After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a day at leisure for individual sightseeing and exploring, shopping, or relaxing. Dinner is back at the hotel.

Overnight. (B, D) DAY 6 – BERLIN-DRESDEN-PRAGUE: After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head out for a tour of Dresden on our way to Prague. Our sightseeing tour will feature some of the city’s most stunning architectural gems such as the famous Semper Opera House and the Zwinger, a magnificent baroque architectural ensemble, as well as the recently restored Frauenkirche church. You will have time to enjoy the fantastic views from the Bruhl’s Terrace, also known as the “Balcony of Europe,” a beautiful terraced promenade along the Elbe River. Lunch will be on your own here. Continue on to our hotel in Prague for check-in, dinner and overnight. (B, D) DAY 7 – PRAGUE: After breakfast, we will depart on a full-day tour of Prague, which will include the Historic Center (top photo), Old Town Square, Mamesti Republiky (Republic Square), Prasna Brana (Powder Tower), the Royal Way, Tyn Church (bottom photo*), the Jan Hus , Clam-Gallas Palota (Clam-Gallas Palace) Courtyard, Palac Kinskych (Kinsky Palace outside view), Vaclavske Namesti (Wenceslas Square), the of St. Wenceslas, and the Jewish Ghetto, including a visit to the Jewish Museum Prague and Old/New Synagogue. Lunch will be on our own. We will also have free time to shop and relax. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D) DAY 8 – PRAGUE: After breakfast, we’ll enjoy touring including the great sites of the Left Bank of the Vltava River. These include Hradcany Casatle, Pragues most venerated landmark, a magnificent complex of halls, courtyards, living quarters, and religious structures. We will also visit Kostel Svateho Mikulase (Church of St. Nicholas), Karluv Most (Charles Bridge), the Lennon Peace Wall, Kostel Panny, Marie Vitenze (Church of our Lady Victorious) and many other interesting sites. Lunch is on our own, and we will have time for personal exploration, shopping, and relaxation. Tonight we will have a farewell dinner at a typical Czech restaurant with live music, beer, and wine. Overnight. (B,D) DAY 9 – PRAGUE-BOSTON: After breakfast and hotel check-out, we’ll transfer to the airport to board our return flight home (via an intermediate stop), with food and beverage service, as well as stereo headphones, while in flight.
