Development of Road infrastructure will act as catalyst to: Capitalize on opportunities for trade with landlocked Central Asian States through linkage of Gwadar Deap Sea Port to Major Cities and Highways Via Road and Railways Serve the geo-strategic interests Promote trade and transport with gulf states Increase in revenues of Barter trade with neighboring countries Iran and Afghanistan Unlock mineral development potential of interior Balochistan Assist in export of minerals, livestock, Fruits and Dates and Fisheries Provide access to main highways and towns for rural agriculture areas Increase job opportunities Ensure sustainable development and alleviate poverty RECOMMENDATION
There is a great need to exploit the potentials in Balochistan. Its geographical location provides excellent linkages with Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and the Gulf States. The Best way to accelerate the economic growth is the completion of road network. The quick benefits can be accrued with fast completion of proposed roads. With present resources it is not possible to complete them. There is a great need of Federal and Foreign Financial Assistance as much as possible.
