  • LANCER “Second Storm”
LANCER “Second Storm” LANCER’s new album “Second Storm” is a lesson in melodic metal and follows a long tradition of outstanding Swedish Metal Bands like Hammerfall, Sabaton and many more! The album has been recorded in the world famous Leon Music Studios with producer Gustav Ydenius (Steelwing, Mustasch, Enforcer) and the cover artwork has been painted by Dimitar Nikolov (who has previously made artwork for Steelwing and Katana). The Swedish melodic metal band draws its inspiration from classical acts like Iron Maiden, Helloween and Gamma Ray, adding a personal and modern touch to the sound. LANCER met at the Music Academy of Ingesund in Arvika, Sweden, and the common passion for heavy metal forged them together and LANCER was born. They invaded the metal scene in the spring of 2012 with their debut EP “Purple Sky”. The EP got a warm welcome from all around the world and gave the band a record deal with the Swedish label Doolittle Group AB, owned by the world famous metal vocalist Christian Liljegren (Narnia) and a deal with Japanese label King Records at this time. I early 2013 the follow up to the “Purple Sky” EP, LANCER’s self-titled debut album was released world wide. The album was produced by Tommy Reinxeed and Ronny Milianowicz (previous collaborations with Hammerfall, Michael Kiske and Timo Tolkki to name a few!), and it received amazing reviews from the metal press all around the world. Japanese Burrn Magazine gave the album 75/100 and Sweden Rock Magazine 7/10, naming the band a new hope for European power metal, and it received even higher grades from several European and American reviewers.

Thus, he was voted a living example of a polymath by Intelligent Life magazine in Reviews Schrijf een review. This is why this book is dedicated to Bruce as a songwriter, as a poet of lyrics, some of which represent little masterpieces - even without music. Their ambiguity holds some surprises. Prior to joining that band Dickinson enjoyed stardom with Samson, while his post-Maiden solo career has brought much critical success. He ate the meal in the secure knowledge that after his death he would return again! The subjects are extremely interesting and Bruce succeeds in artfully getting to the heart of them. Their ambiguity holds some surprises. Not a light read, but entertaining in its own way nonetheless. Bold, honest, intelligent and very funny, his memoir is an up-close look inside the life, heart, and mind of one of the most unique and interesting men in the world; a true icon of rock. All information's there if people choose to dig for it. Bibliografische Informationen. Carlson Publisher: Lulu. This book tells his story through interviews with those who know him best. Quiet reflection has been shown to calm the mind and help retain information. The final rites were performed by the novelist Louis Marlowe reading extracts from Crowley's "Book of the Law".

For more information: Thomas Bolding Public Relations Specialist 618-772-8029 [email protected] Phantom Music Management FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE UP THE IRONS: THE SATTELITE FRONTIER January 27, 2013, London, UK – Iron Maiden will expand their music catalog into satellite through a partnership with Sirius XM radio. The partnership aims for a Maiden and heavy metal-exclusive radio program for metal head subscribers. The program will be titled: Up the Irons. The program is set to launch Monday, January 28 in the US and UK. After the success of the band’s 2010 album, The Final Frontier, Steve Smith and co. have decided to branch out further into the radio world. “We received multiple suggestions on how to further reach our fan base. After careful consideration, and somewhat-chaotic research, we’ve decided Sirius XM radio brings us closer to casual metal listeners. Some radio stations contacted us in the past and even helped our success with Number of the Beast and so on, but XM provides the seclusion, the listener-friendly experience. And that’s what we want the most – for our fans, and music fans in general, to be happy,” said assistant band manager Roy Schofield. Maiden plans to promote The Final Frontier, but also works from their classic catalogue including: Powerslave, Killers, and Number of the Beast. In collaboration with other metal acts, the radio program aims to build an appreciation of heavy metal and its various sub-genres. “You’ll get Run to the Hills, but you may even hear Rime of the Ancient Mariner, or even Phantom of the Opera.

MUSIC COMPLEXITY: A MULTI-FACETED DESCRIPTION OF AUDIO CONTENT A DISSERTATION SUBMITTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TECHNOLOGY OF THE UNIVERSITAT POMPEU FABRA FOR THE PROGRAM IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATION IN PARTIAL FULFILMENT OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEGREE OF – DOCTOR PER LA UNIVERSITAT POMPEU FABRA Sebastian Streich 2006 Dipòsit legal: B.8926-2008 ISBN: 978-84-691-1752-1 © Copyright by Sebastian Streich 2006 All Rights Reserved ii DOCTORAL DISSERTATION DIRECTION Dr. Xavier Serra Department of Technology Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona This research was performed at the Music Technology Group of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Primary support was provided by the EU projects FP6-507142 SIMAC http://www.semanticaudio.org. iii iv Abstract The complexity of music is one of the less intensively researched areas in music information retrieval so far. Although very interesting findings have been reported over the years, there is a lack of a unified approach to the matter. Relevant publications mostly concentrate on single aspects only and are scattered across different disciplines. Especially an automated estimation based on the audio material itself has hardly been addressed in the past. However, it is not only an interesting and challenging topic, it also allows for very practical applications. The motivation for the presented research lies in the enhancement of human interaction with digital music collections. As we will discuss, there is a variety of tasks to be considered, such as collection visualization, play-list generation, or the automatic recommendation of music. While this thesis doesn’t deal with any of these problems in deep detail it aims to provide a useful contribution to their solution in form of a set of music complexity descriptors.

  • Def Leppard – 02
DEF LEPPARD – 02. Also, im Auge behalten.
