Directions: From M20 eastbound, leave at junction 2 From M20 westbound, join the M26 and leave immediately at junction 2A From M26 east- or westbound, leave at junction 2A Then in each case follow signs for A227 towards and . From the M2/A2 turn southwards onto the A227, & pass through Meopham. Vigo RFC is just east of Vigo Village. The entrance will be marked with archery target signs on the day. Satnav co-ordinates: 51° 20’ 6” N / 0° 22’ 4” E Rounds: The rounds to be shot will be: York, Hereford, and all Bristol rounds according to the age and gender of the competitor

Shooting will be strictly in accordance with the GNAS Rules Shooting

Eligibility: Only archers to are affiliated to ArcheryGB or another World Archery Association member are eligible to shoot. Proof of membership may be requested at the tournament. Entries will be accepted in all nationally recognised age groups and styles except crossbow.

Drug Testing: You are liable for drug testing, and competitors approached to give samples must comply. If you refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Entries from archers under the age of 18 must be signed by a parent/guardian to signify consent to their child being drug tested if approached.

The Rounds: York Hereford and all Bristol rounds. Burntwood rounds will be available if required – please contact the organiser first. Veterans: To qualify for Kent Veteran awards, you must be 55 or over on the date of the tournament and declare it on the entry form.

Please complete the entry form in BLOCK CAPITALS and return it with payment before the closing date. Entries can only be accepted if they include adequate contact details, the archer’s signature (plus parent/guardian’s signature for juniors) and full payment. Postal entries only.

Target list will be published on line and mailed out to all competitors. You will automatically receive an acknowledgement of your entry.

Archers who require special arrangements should bring this to the attention of the Tournament Organiser and complete the relevant section within the entry form.

Davis Lady Paramount: TBA Inspection: All archers are reminded that all equipment will be inspected before the shoot. It is the archers responsibility to shoot with the correct gear. Targets: All target butts are constructed from bound straw ropes; 4-leg (H-frame) stands are used throughout Dress Code: ArcheryGB dress regulations will apply (Rule 307). Traditional dark green / white of club or county colours are preferred. Archers are requested to observe the dress code until after the presentation of awards. Awards: Awards will be given in all categories according to the number of entries received and will only be available to competitors who shoot the round that starts with the recognised maximum distance for their gender & age. Juniors may not compete for senior awards, but separate awards may be available for juniors who wish to shoot the senior round. Some awards are available only to members of the Kent Archery Association, others only to ‘visitors’, and some are open to all. Awards will be presented by the Lady Paramount as soon as possible after completion of shooting. Rose Awards: This tournament has ‘Rose Award’ status and competitors wishing to claim an award, must do so before they leave the venue. Assistance: If you require space for a wheel chair etc. please indicate on the form. Lost Arrows: This tournament is held on a mixed-use sports field; all lost arrows must be found before their owner leaves the venue. Disclaimer: Neither the Kent Archery Association nor the owners of the grounds accept responsibility for loss or damage to equipment while on, entering or leaving the venue. No responsibility will be accepted for damage to arrows missing or passing through a target boss. Parking: Parking space will be clearly indicated; please park considerately and do not l eave your car on any roadway. Photography: To comply with the ArcheryGB Policy for “Safeguarding Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults”, any person wishing to pursue any form of photography for any purpose is required to report to the tournament organiser before starting and to comply with any conditions given. Juniors: All competitors under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent, guardian or other nominated responsible adult at all times.
