Vincent Van Gogh preferred the small towns of to the big city of . While living in these small towns he made 300 paintings and drawings in one year! Starry Night was inspired by his view out of his window. Although the painting is an interpretation of Van Gogh’s view of the night sky, the whirling forms in the sky match real constellations of stars.

KEITH HARING Date: c1980

Keith was an artist from a young age. When he moved to to attend art school, he was inspired by the graffiti he saw in the subways. He decided he wanted in on the fun and started drawing with chalk on blank advertising boards. As Keith’s career and popularity grew, he stayed humble and committed to helping others. He created 50 works of art for hospitals, children’s daycare centers and orphanages.
