NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City Council acting on behalf of the South Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an agreement dated 31 March 2011 (and subsequently varied by Deed of Variation on 15 June 2011 and 27 July 2012) has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: All measurements are taken as accurately as possible and are taken from the extended kerb line unless stated otherwise.

1. To revoke ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ on the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Brentwood: Woodman Road, South side – From a point 5 metres northeast of its junction with The Chase in a Warley south-westerly direction to a point 5 metres southwest of its junction with The Chase. Green, Both sides – From its south-western junction with Hutton Road south-eastwards Shenfield for 15 metres. Both sides - From its north-eastern junction with Hutton Road south-eastwards for 15 metres. Hammonds Lane, Southwest side – From its junction with Warley Hill north-westwards for 15 Warley metres. Northeast side - From its junction with Warley Hill north-westwards and northwards for 67 metres. 2. To revoke ‘Resident Permit F Holders Only Monday to Friday 11am-Noon’ on the following length of road in the Borough of Brentwood: Birchwood Close, Both sides – From its junction with Canterbury Way and Ashbeam Close Warley southwards to its termination 4. To revoke ‘No Waiting Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm’ on the following length of road in the Borough of Brentwood: The Grove, Northwest & West side – From a point 15 metres northeast of its junction with Brentwood Spital Lane north-eastwards and northwards for 64 metres. Southeast & Southwest side – From a point 15 metres northeast of its junction with Spital Lane north-eastwards and south-eastwards for 63 metres. East side – From a point 5 metres south of the property boundary of No’s.22 & 23 The Grove south-eastwards for a distance of 33 metres. 5. To amend the Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-street Parking places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 Schedule 5 will be amended to include the following properties the residents of which are eligible to apply for a permit: STREET ZONE PROPERTIES Britannia Road, Warley F 2A-62 evens, 3-33 odds. Date of operation: This Order will come into operation on 27 February 2020.

Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
