NOTES FOR TONIGHT Last season against the Boston Bruins The Vegas Golden Knights split their season series with the Boston Bruins during the 2017-18 season, winning at T-Mobile Arena but falling at Boston. In the first meeting in Las Vegas on October 15, the Golden Knights captured a 3-1 victory over the Bruins. In Boston on November 2, Vegas fell 2-1. Alex Tuch led the Golden Knights with two points (1G, 1A) in the two games.

Century Mark For Games Played On Horizon The Golden Knights (51-24-7 in 2017-18, 7-9-1 in 2018-19) will play their 100th regular-season game on Sunday, November 11 at Boston Bruins. The original Ottawa Senators were 63-37-0 in their first 100 games (1917-22). Vegas (99 GP; 58-33-8) surpassed Montreal (53-47-0) for the second-most wins by a team within its first 100 regular-season games.

Marching Into The Regular Season After finishing with a team-high eight points (4G, 4A) during the preseason, Jonathan Marchessault has continued his hot play into the regular season. He has posted a team-high 15 points (8G, 7A) and leads the team in goals and assists. Marchessault scored the first goal of the year for the Vegas Golden Knights 6:37 into the season opener against Philadelphia. He recorded his first multi-point game of the season at Buffalo, finishing with a goal and an assist, and finished with two assists at Pittsburgh. The Quebec native's first multi- goal game of the year came against the Buffalo Sabres on October 16. Against Ottawa, Marchessault scored the 15th penalty-shot goal in overtime in league history, with Vegas becoming the 13th different franchise to have such a tally (NSH and ANA have two each).

Physical Play + Point Production The Vegas Golden Knights' "fourth line" has provided energy this season and that's due, in part, to their physical style of play. William Carrier and Ryan Reaves lead the NHL with 84 and 66 hits, respectively. Their linemate Pierre-Edouard Bellemare has also added 11 hits. As a team, the Golden Knights are second the NHL in hits with 459 hits in 17 games. The trio has also made an impact on the offensive side of the puck. They had a game-high four points at Ottawa (Nov. 8) and have combined to record 13 points this season: Reaves with five points (4G, 1A), Bellemare with five points (3G, 2A) and Carrier with three points (2G, 1A).
